I think their new coach may have called him but I think afterwards the clarion ledger said that Pollard said it was just too late to consider them. Unless you just love the school, it'd be hard to commit to a guy you just met when the other guys have been recruiting you for 3 years.

I think he and his mother just do not want to separate. With his father dying of cancer and his house burning down, maybe they just want a new start elsewhere?
Hopefully that new start will be in Tuscaloosa.

Grant hasn't even been in Tuscaloosa for three years.

Anyway, if you have saw any of his interviews with his mother he wont be going far unless she is going with him along with his girlfriend!

I hope Greg will have an article about Pollard's visit tomorrow. Hopefully it went great.

Even if he is given an unconditional release, which is highly unlikely, I can't imagine why he would want to come play for us when he is leaving State because their new coach is working them too hard.

I wish Hank nothing but the best. I wish Eblen would have gone instead of him but oh well. I wonder if we will use all 3 scholarships now?
Any word on why Hankerson is leaving? Is it simply a matter of playing time? Do you think Grant goes JUCO in order to get some experience? Tide loses a senior and two juniors.

Unless it is a great Juco player I wouldnt. Just continue to buile through the high school ranks. They havent played at this level either so they really cant offer to much more experience IMHO

Jucos are good for bridging classes.
