Auburn now has commitments from 8 of the top 10 players in the state of Alabama.

At this point I wonder if we are going after some Auburn players that we know are going to stick with Auburn just to drive the price up on them. I can't see Jared Smith making the switch to Ole Miss, but can see him going back to Auburn and saying the price went up $100K cause he's looking at Ole Miss. Freeze would be on his knees in front of whatever booster he had to for that extra $100K.

No, bama is getting cooked right now in recruiting around the South as of right now.
Look at your commit list. Most of them aren't in the area and the current instate ones you have(the 2 OL) are trash that we didn't want.

It’s the #2 class in the country and 12 of the 22 commits are from the SEC footprint.

Logic is not a strong suit for AU fans it seems.
Luckily their staff continues to demonstrate they can not develop players and once again their program is irrelevant. At some point you would think the boosters would realize the ROI on investing in recruitment is not very good.
