If he wants to go home for the weekend or his parents want to go to a game, they are flying either way.

Florida, Ohio State and Tennessee are just hats on the table for Sewell. Probably won't even make it to the table.

Oregon will also have no less than 8 drafted in 2020 with 5 players getting on mock draft boards in the 1st or 2nd round. Washington is spitting out NFL talent every year.

The SEC is clearly better and the PAC is down. However, Oregon plays tOSU and a 9 game conference slate in 2020, 2021 and at Georgia in 2022. They also have BYU on the schedule and play Utah twice in the next three years. The championship game is in Nevada. They can drive to game at Colorado, Utah, WSU, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal and Stanford.

The PAC 12 division will have 4 teams that can and probably will be perennial top 25 in Oregon, Wazzu, UW and Stanford. Wazzu and Stanford aren’t currently because their teams are inexperienced but that won’t be the case 2020-2022.

Thinking about this, the trip to Arizona and ASU are day trips too. SLC is pretty well situated.

You sure? He is listed on the All PAC12 team in 2011 (his freshman year) as a DE.

Also, I am not sure why it matters. It was under a completely different staff. Avalos and Wilson developed kids at Nevada, WSU and BSU. If you’re good, you will go to the NFL.

They’ve done incredibly well at it.

Just a beast of an ILB at 266lbs and moves like he’s 235. Heat seeking missle that can tackle, blitz and cover short passing routes in space.

Long way to go with UGA, ATM, Oregon and Bama in contention.

It seems UA is on the outside looking in at Sewell. To be honest I like him better then Flowe based on him maybe having a higher ceiling in college. If UGA can land it will be a great pickup.

I think you’re stretching that pretty drastically. They’ve been fine, but I wouldn’t say they’ve done “incredibly well”.

I drive to SLC to Eugene in 11 hours and do it regularly. Both cities are right on the interstate and you can easily average 75 mph.

Do you know how insane it sounds to type that out as a selling point...

A non-stop Delta flight from SLC to Eugene is 2 hours plus a roughly 30 minute drive from the airport to campus.

A non-stop Delta flight from SLC to Atlanta is 3.5 hours plus a roughly 1.5 hour drive.

So we're talking about roughly 2.5 hours each way, per trip... that matters to some degree, but I can assure you the drive time does not.

Wilson had 6 LBs at once in the NFL in 2013 while he coached at Nevada and WSU.

Avalos developed Correa and Vander Esch and helped with DeMarcus Lawrence at Boise State. He also developed Curtis Weaver who is expected to go high in the draft from Boise State.

They’ve been lights out considering they’re ex G5 coaches.

Lol, 30 minutes to the Eugene airport to campus.

It’s not the travel time by airplane. It’s the cost. Sure, you could say impermissible benefits will pay the way but the cost difference to a family that’s not rich matters.

Google maps says it's 22-25 minutes... Was good enough for me.

The cost doesn’t appear to be drastically different.

The cost of air travel vs car. The whole family can go and pay $200. Oregon will probably play three game that are 8:30 pm their time.

Even the 6 pm local time start would be doable.

I just went to expedia to see cost differential from SLC to Eugene Oregon and SLC to Atlanta - basically the same price.

Nobody other than a Sadist would drive 11 hours from SLC to Oregon with their families (you single?).

Scratch the travel/closeness - not a factor.

I have made the trip from south of Portland to SLC no less than 5x. It’s a really easy drive. It’s faster than going to San Fran and we have families from Nor Cal that drive up all the time. You’re kidding yourself.

Also, it’s an hour and 45 from pdx to Eugene. There are ways to make the trip to Eugene cheaper even flying.
