TexAgs has always said we were in it for McKinley - they just never said they would choose us over the field. They were cautiously optimistic but it’s not like the AM side had no idea it was a possibility, the National beat writers obviously were caught off guard

I certainly wouldn't have counted A&M out at any point. He is a 5* D-lineman after all.
I've heard the announcement is at 3:30 today. Does anyone know if there's a live stream of any kind to watch? I haven't seen anything about one.

He's the definition of mediocre, like a worse version of Riley. All the focus is on offense.

Sad if a fan believes this is the recruiting pitch for OU. No wonder why McKinley went to A&M. Academics was the reason why he choose Aggies over OU and LSU at the end of the day. His mother said as much when she prioritized academics as a priority for her son.
Once UT enters the SEC, three schools will have that advantage in recruiting. And yes, Vande being the 3rd.
But 75% of all recruits probably care less about the academic side of the evaluation.
