There’s certainly A&M smoke but nobody has a good handle on this recruitment. They thought it was Texas. Those claims were baseless. A&M culture doesn’t really fit this kid and his family. OU seems like the obvious pick to me based on how his mom feels about Bates, and the faith culture BV has. Guess we will see.

We've been traumatized by all the 5*s who flipped to another team under Riley. At least now we get to enjoy when it happens to him now...like the 6th one of the year apparently did today.
5* DTs are always heated battles anyway due to their rarity. The resulting coping and meltdowns are fun to read.
That said, I have no confidence in any predictions I've heard for McKinley so far. I'm hoping lots of opposing crystal balls start dropping over the next 18 to 20 hours just to see all the different reactions, predictable as they might be.

Consensus is A@M leads. Whitfong said both of them like the enviroment at A@M and closer to home .Hoping Stone can talk him into coming to OU.

Totally agree with you. I like to follow it because I like to keep up with LSU’s roster. The NIL and now the portal have taken emotions completely out of it for me. Even when a kid commits to LSU I don’t get all that excited knowing he can enter the portal at any time.

Everything just moved to A&M. Wiltfong changed his pick just now as did Sam Spiegelman.

Texas is overconfident on every recruit, so seeing all these recruits they "lead" for has to be taken with a grain of salt.
I have no idea what the kid will do, and hats off to him for that. As for GBD, he was hurt last year and will play a lot this Fall. He's been great when he can get on the field.

Apparently the longhorns tried to offer a 1 mil NiL deal and his mom said she wasn’t interested, I heard it came close to begging
