I know you’re not talking! Alabama will find anything to melt about even when they win. Y’all are the most spoiled fan base in CFB. There’s nobody close so throw that whole post away

We'll see what happens. To think LSU doesn't have a shot to land him is asinine. His commitment in Dec was one of the strangest ones I have seen, you could tell he was completely uncomfortable with it. The pressure he has gotten from in state is crazy. We'll find out soon enough. But the Tigers have a good shot regardless of ole Steve's predictions.

You dipshits melt when UGA out recruits you. It's not UGA fans melting and it won't be them melting on NSD

I don't think there will be much melting over Burch on NSD. There's a lot of hope we pull him, but I think most will understand either way. The only real melting I see happening over Burch's decision will be directed at VolTiger for being "wrong".
Other than the VolTiger melt, the only other melting I predict will be if we don't sign a full class, people will be melting that we supposedly cut a few local kids loose when we didn't need to.
I think the idea of melting is thrown around too loosely these days. It's become kind of watered down. I mean, everyone loves a good melt, but let's not go around trying to invent melts that aren't really there.

Burch is signing with the Gamecocks, and then he will sign with Huntley at Hammond Wednesday afternoon.
I've stayed out of this thread and discussion because I've seen how it ends for LSU numerous times, but I feel the shoe is on the other foot atm.
1. Prior USC, including yourself, pushed the narrative of him being best friends with Muschamp's son and that they would attend USC together. Fast forward to last week and Muschamp's son commits to CSU. Then the same weekend Burch visits LSU with his entire family. Right after LSU finishes the greatest SEC season and arguably the GOAT. I'll leave that discussion for a different board though.
2. Now you're saying he will sign with his new BFF Huntley and commit to USC after already being committed. I've seen these scenarios play out over and over. When a commit is having a committing ceremony it 9/10 doesn't end well for the current school they are committed to. Maybe USC is the outlier. IDK.
3. I assume he will make his visit to SC this weekend, but if he doesn't I wouldn't think much either way. He has seen all he can of USC.
4. I've seen a few USC fans in this thread point to the NFL draft and how Kinlaw is an expected 1st round draft pick (rightfully so) and how that even with poor seasons they can show out and join the elites in the NFL. Some players though have bigger things in mind. Like Championships, playing around other elite players, and competing rather than being handed a spot in the starting lineup. So you can't rule that out.
5. I keep saying USC to trigger Clemson fans.

Are you sure it was Jackson because he is close friends with Boogie Huntley and they were talking about attending USC together. I've never seen it stated he and Jackson were going to play together only he and Boogie.

We would have loved to have had him. Bit we saw the writing on the wall. It is LSU fans who seem all upset about Burch right now.

I'm sure you are happy that recruits don't get in state pressure from Louisiana, right?

LSU fans are going to act like idiots when he just signs with USC next week but the signs are all there. I don't think he would have another ceremony just to spurn the home school. If it was LSU he would just send out a tweet or something and send in his paperwork.

You got that backwards since he already had a ceremony to commit/sign with USC. He never signed. History disagrees with you, but I'm leaning the same.

Who does Georgia our recruit? Yep having lived in Atlanta for a long time I have listened to how UGA our recruits and our coaches LSU year after year... except whenever Georgia actually plays LSU .. Georgia gets lit up... so which is it.. overrated recruits or overrated coaches or both.
Posted on 1/30/20 at 6:20 pm to mhc4tigers
It's both. Georgia just produces overrated players. Been saying that. There's just no reason for them getting their asses kicked like they do and claim they actually have more talent than anyone. That's just crazy. LSU is second to none in recruiting base and talent. We have proven it though. Georgia hasn't done shite since 1980. You tell me who has more talent when LSU beats UGA badly every time we play it seems and we win titles. Georgia may be the most overrated program in the country. It's close between them and Oklahoma.
Posted on 1/30/20 at 6:25 pm to ImayGoLesMiles
UGA is just constantly hamstrung by shitty coaches. They’ve always had talent.
