I think it's between Florida and Oregon right now, although SC is still in it.

Goddamn Cristobal.
There's chatter on boards about OU due to his relationship with Bookie as well.

LSU (the real DBU) has an opening. Go get him, Raymond.

If distance wasn't a factor, I think he'd be all Florida. My gut says Oregon.

Iirc, he used to live in FL and/or has family in FL, amirite?
ETA: On 2nd thought, maybe I had him confused with Micah Pittman.

I saw one of our targets said that about LSU, my heart would sink, because I would know there was no way we're getting that guy. I think he'll do well at Oregon.

What they're saying from Insider/Random Forums:
USC Fan (Reason for Decommit) - I usually don't get too caught up in recruiting losses at this time of year... but this one hurts. Great player at a position of need. But he was warned by some of our own players about the coaching they're receiving in the defensive backfield. You can't save that.
USC Fan (Reason for Decommit) - While 2019 St. John Bosco HS CB Chris Steele claims USC isn’t the perfect fit for him, the Trojans actually parted ways with him because of the high potential for NCAA drama. Shortly after Steele committed to USC, the Trojan compliance office was approached by multiple parties, including USC247.com, with evidence he took improper benefits. The evidence shows these benefits were funneled from USC recruiting reporters.
OU Fan - I am really hoping his good friendship with Bookie helps OU at the end.
(The vast majority of USC fans are saying Florida)
Miami Fan - Agree. Florida bound.
OU Fan - we dont have a DC. theres no guarantee our DBs coach will be around next year. not sure how were going to land him with so much uncertainty
Oregon Fan - It’s definitely between Florida and OU.
Oregon Fan - I think Oklahoma has the best chances as of right now. But Oregon has kept in solid contact with him, and a lot of our commits have been working him. I would think Florida gives up on Cali recruits at this point, but who knows. I hope he comes to Oregon, but Oklahoma seems like it might be the landing spot.
Oklahoma Fan - Lots of insiders were fairly certain he was coming to OU right up until a day or two before he committed to USC, i think he’s just a guy who likes the attention. I would love to have him though, I think he’s close with Bookie.
Oklahoma Fan - Edit: I know he's most likely leaning towards Florida, but still, let me have this..
USC Fan - Expected for a while now. He loves recruiting and the drama of it but his parents still want him at USC. He’s already de-committed once. Not going to believe anything until he’s in front of the desk signing papers.
------
Sorry for the long post, this is just what other fans are saying.

Seems like he is all over the place. I don’t think he leaves the west coast but who knows at this point. Could be whatever school he likes the most on signing day.

No one knows I agree.. every school thinks something or another. I will give you one more spin..... he actually recommits to USC.... it’s what a OU insider is saying. I personally think he wants out of Cali. We have some secret 5 star who has silent commit (heard this before) either him or Haselwood.

Nah I think he's pretty upset with USC over something, and personally, I don't think Oregon is a real contender as everyone else does.
I don't see why he would leave USC, a closer place with a better defense, for Oregon who is further away and very likely will have a 100+ pass defense after Saturday since they're playing Washington State.
He has been in contact with Florida almost constantly and Sticcs (see him on Twitter) knew about it before he even de-committed. A lot of the Florida insiders are pretty confident -- not counting him yet, but it would be an epic, EPIC troll job since he visited Florida twice and constantly talks to the staff/reporters.

Seems like you could have a point.

I posted that in my original post (only the front half) but it's more of a 'meh' problem. I think some USC reporters are just salty.

Releasing this rumor sounds like a surefire way to get him to recommit to SC.

Nah, I'm really confident in saying that he's really, really, really done with USC. Not only did their reporters state false claims but they broke his commitment early and ruined it.
He also immediately did an interview with a Florida beat writer. I don't think USC is in the race, and I don't even think their fans think they are in the race.
One even said: "A lot of players are talking to recruits and telling them not to come for how they're being taught" and most USC fans seem to agree.
