So broken
Remember when y’all were going to get Lacy, Chambliss, 3 starting O-linemen, Deuce Alexander, Caden Lee and “AnYoNe ElSe We WaNt!!” ?

Instead y’all got 1 defensive starter, 1 freshman WR, a freshman OL, and had to pay over 1.5 million including $600k to us in order to get PU.

But yeah, y’all totally gutted us

This is a weird way to say great pickup. It would be hard to get Chambliss because he doesn’t have any eligibility left. Grabbing the number 1 edge rusher in the portal to complete our defense.

It’s funny, you point about Lacey, but in securing him with 2 million dollars you lose two of your best defenders

Lane's going to need the national guard as a security measure in Oxford next season isn't he..

We’ve already stated in the other thread(which means this one is just purely to troll) that he’s a good defender.

According to your fellow reb “he’s not good and there’s a reason your dline coach didn’t pony up for him

No you just want to hear what you want to hear. We broken it down for you. He’s a great pass rusher but piss poor in run defense. We didn’t pony up because we believe we brought in more consistent players.

My man, you got to enjoy one season in your entire life where ole miss football is relevant and the guy that got yall there left immediately for a much better job. You know that was the very pinnacle of ole miss football. Of course you’re gutted

Lacy, Chamblis

both agreed to follow lane. They got paid and stayed. Don't blame them. $2M for a college RB is stupid.

freshman OL (I think Ole Miss was planning on him being a starter next year).

1 defensive starter? I think you may have left out the leading tackler on the Ole Miss defense TJ Dottery (so it’s the leading tackler and leader in sacks).

Either way, it wasn’t a complete raid like Iowa St dealt with, but there are a couple of big time players and the loss will be felt in production and depth. On the players that didn’t follow Kiffen, I think LSU did a pretty good job of adjusting and adding good/great players at every position of need.
