Harvey Williams (was trying to create + vibes with aTm switch)...
re: Paris Shand was listed at 6'5" 280lbs last year. Are there plans to move him inside
He would need to put on at least 20 pounds to play nose. More like 40
I think we are switching to a 4-2-5 so a true 320-330lb NT won’t be necessary. If I’m not mistaken, they usually lean to more of a 290 - 300 lb guy that can move and stunt....
He doesn't suck. He's a very good player, but he's the 6th best of 7 DB's in our signing class. That probably makes him a first year starter at LSU. We're going to miss the depth, though.
Let’s revisit that depth next fall ...
But unfortunately LSU mens basketball is that one sport where only winning draws butts in the seats.
I agree, I think a new arena, better set up and getting the crowd on top of the court would help, but at the end of the day someone needs to create a multi year culture of winning. ...

I liked Wade, more importantly I liked the excitement around the program. I admit that last year, I thought this coach was in over his head, but I am really glad I was wrong and hope I continue to be wrong.
I just want to see a jam packed arena, with a loud crowd and a team that has a chance to ...
2 returning, 2 early signees, and 1 more coming in. seems like we need at least 8 bodies to start the season. at a minimum 7
5 + shand and Jones would be 7, but I would think they need at least another. That’s if they move those 2 (I think they are a little big and slow for 4 do...

I think we need a little more depth, but I also think the thought may be that Shand and possibly Savion Jones, can play 1 on the interior positions in the 4-2-5. Jaxson Howard types will move down to end...

Based off the your criteria the trophy should go to the Michigan QB McCarthy. A great reminder, just because Trent Dilfer won a superbowl, that doesn’t necessarily make him the best quarterback....

I think this is potentially a great hire, because he seems to teach the aggressive Defense that LSU is known for.
I know the rules have changed drastically over the years, but are DB’s still allowed to use hands (bump) within 5 y...

Thanks for the great info. Do you have any info on the other candidates?
In the write up about Baker’s 4-2-5 Defense, I noticed the author mentioned, the aggressive style may lead to some big plays. It seems like playing our passive style this year gave up more big plays, I have never seen so man...

He isn’t connected to the players.
Can’t change his scheme based on the talent he has available.
Can’t adjust to what offenses are doing to make big plays (still has slow safeties trying to cover the best WR, all an offense has to do is motion a guy from the outside to slot and it’s an instant mis...

The middle of the Defense was really bad and that is hard to hide. The linebackers showed little improvement (House position). The safeties were horrible most of the year, with no progress.
I can’t think of another team that played so soft on coverage, yet gave up so many big plays. When we fina...
Why not play worst loss instead of best win…..Is Texas’ loss not worse than Bama’s loss?
If you go that direction (H2H doesn’t matter), UGA loss is better than Bama loss. FTR I don’t care who gets in, but you could do this all day. That’s why a 12 team playoff is needed....
