PU did not. He played 3rd and passing downs. He is second on the depth chart.
Regardless I will always take an All SEC defender and sack leader along with a leading tackler. Good for you, your team is so deep that they have better players available. LSU can sure use them.

Instead y’all got 1 defensive starter, 1 freshman WR, a freshman OL, and had to pay over 1.5 million including $600k to us in order to get PU.
freshman OL (I think Ole Miss was planning on him being a starter next year).
1 defensive starter? I think you may have left out the leading tackler on the Ole Miss defense TJ Dottery (so it’s the leading tackler and leader in sacks).
Either way, it wasn’t a complete raid like Iowa St dealt with, but there are a couple of big time players and the loss will be felt in production and depth. On the players that didn’t follow Kiffen, I think LSU did a pretty good job of adjusting and adding good/great players at every position of need.

the point still stands that it's a pretty damn impressive feat, especially given the lack of OL talent they've worked with.
If they were sniffing the top 5 over a 6 year period with that talent void it’s impressive, if they were truly 1st then it’s mind blowing.
I definitely think he has an easier path to early playing time on offense, but I think he is going to be a great defensive lineman. I would just be shocked if he has early playing time over some of the dudes we have on defense right now.
I think the only way he plays both ways would be full time defense and maybe as a fullback or 3rd blocking TE on goal line offense.
One thing is certain, CLK has one of the best set of plays I have seen for short yardage. A couple of the plays he ran against LSU on 3rd/4th down this year were amazing.

I think a better comparison is,
Lane
Hey we both know it’s not going to work out, but I want to be there for the kids, especially during this time of need.
Ole maid
No way, you will never see the kids again, I don’t care if they want to see you are not. I’m not worried about the kids, because I have hurt feelings and still want you.

Think of how LSU fans would have acted towards R-Kansas if Miles would have taken that job in 2012 when they tried to get him.
Exactly.
A more accurate analogy is the Saban to Bama move.
OC blew it that last series. QB had hot hand and all momentum and they just stopped doing what worked.

Yay another 3 star signed
Probably need to go look at his highlights before making this statement. Just based off the first few minutes, you can see a player that is long and turns defense into offense quickly.
He doesn’t play the ball to swat it down, he is playing it to get a pick and then turn into offense. This is something that LSU has been lacking, but you can see Corey Raymond style player all over him.
re: Boy BK has some stink on him....how does he get it off?

1 high end portal QB and LSU is probably in ok shape. I would actually rather them spend the NIL money on a proven transfer, rather than a high school QB.

Exactly, I posted before reading.
IMO to stop a good running qb in the read option, you need good DT’s. LSU has potential there, but it’s young talent and it showed the last 2 games.
When you get your butt whipped on the interior, I’m not sure what coaches can do, against a solid running read or option game.
I will say LSU better hope the Vandy QB is hurt, because the option scheme they ran against Bama was scary good

Just a thought, but we might want to move Bo back from TE to tackle and consider moving Jones to OG.

Or if you want to physically help out, message me and I’ll give you my # and you can come out here and help us.
I have a friend and 4 of his ex infantry that are mountain trained and want to help. Do you know what papers they need for search and rescue/supply delivery by foot?
Also, I live in Concord NC and have a room if you need it.
To anyone with medical contacts and planning to make the trip up here, the main supply needed per my contact in Black Mountain is body bags, a refrigeration truck and lots of prayers.
Edit to add
Therefore, if you plan to move people, resources, or equipment into western North Carolina, you MUST coordinate plans and movements through the NCEM-BEOC.
You can email your supply logistics or movement requests to: BEOC@ncdps.gov, make sure to begin your Subject Line with: Logistics Support.
Please include the following info:
What are you moving? Why you need special access.
When do you plan to move and from where?
Where are you going?
When will they arrive at the “border to Western NC” and where?

The media keeps saying NC is a swing state. Even if you live in an area that wasn't hit, I would think you'd be upset at Biden and Kamala for not doing more to help your state.
Lived in Gonzales/Dutchtown for Katrina and live in NC now. I’m consistently amazed at how inept our government is, we now need travel papers, just to make deliveries to hard hit areas. The response was delayed, lazy and thoughtless. We care more about other countries than our own.
We will report about a missiles that killed 3 people, 5000x. Meanwhile, we have bodies in treetops and buried in mud and there is no sense of urgency, unless you live in the affected communities (same as Katrina and the Baton Rouge floods - Facebook and TikTok are better news sources).
Weak side option.

They should let Key and Peele generate the random names.
Harvey Williams (was trying to create + vibes with aTm switch)

He would need to put on at least 20 pounds to play nose. More like 40
I think we are switching to a 4-2-5 so a true 320-330lb NT won’t be necessary. If I’m not mistaken, they usually lean to more of a 290 - 300 lb guy that can move and stunt.

He doesn't suck. He's a very good player, but he's the 6th best of 7 DB's in our signing class. That probably makes him a first year starter at LSU. We're going to miss the depth, though.
Let’s revisit that depth next fall

But unfortunately LSU mens basketball is that one sport where only winning draws butts in the seats.
I agree, I think a new arena, better set up and getting the crowd on top of the court would help, but at the end of the day someone needs to create a multi year culture of winning.
I think it can and should be done, I sure hope we are about to see it, because I miss the days of power house non-conference, national televised games.
