Look, it's not a State vs OM issue. It's a matter of poor choices.
Example: I don't think AJ Brown is as highly rated or even a first round pick if he had stayed in Starkville. He made a wise choice for his future.

Because it greatly diminishes both prospects ability to reach their full potential. Ole Miss will be a dumpster fire for years to come - with or without the sanctions. And you are wrong; most athletes are competitive and most certainly care about winning.

So state hasn’t taken players recruited at one position and had them play another that fits them better in college? Cj played linebacker and defensive end at ole miss, he was better as a defensive end. Wasn’t Jamal Peters considered a top 3 safety coming out of high school and he played cornerback at state? Wait, didn’t he get hurt this year playing cornerback? Wow, y’all really screwed that guy over.
Yes cj was a top recruit at linebacker but his strengths were better utlilized at defensive end than linebacker. Simple as that.

We need a bunch of CBs if we'r ebeing honest. Even with Flott in, Hampton isn't signing today and may go MLB anyways.
We need Jones and 1 of Ward/Williams too. Our CB room right now is pretty bad depth wise. We go from a Top 3 of Fulton, Stingley, Vincent to....?
