Is he related to the 8th president of the United States Martin Van Buren?

I’m seriously impressed with Lebbys recruiting. He hit the ground running

State is becoming a Developmental program… for the big boys

I was wondering the same. If he was he would not be choosing Moo Stare.

Burnside, the wr from Starkville is good. Glad they were able to lure the hometown boy this time.
Cunningham is in next years class. So I guess it’s awesome they’re in the lead! Like what could happen between now and then? Very little opportunity for other programs to recruit him over the next 365 days.
And once he’s on campus in two years, Van Burn can throw to him!

OM fans seem a bit nervous

Unless y’all plan on playing all your games 7 on 7 no one is nervous.
State is recruiting much better at the skill positions. But is recruiting nothing in the trenches or on defense.
Stonka and Hill are solid pickups.
But go watch Hill’s tape and then watch Kewan Lacy’s tape. That’s the difference in the caliber of player Ole Miss is recruiting.
Harrel will probably bust. McGee got dropped by Ole Miss for Deion Smith. That QB will be mid tier in the SEC. And the other 2 receivers will get poached if they end up being good. Not sure Hill will hang around either running behind a G5 Line.
State is definitely back on track to win 5 games next year though.

This is just not true.
And last years class was heavy with OL/DL and defensive players. Skill players are what we are lacking after we lose Rogers and several WRs from this years team. Lebby is filling needs for his style offense

None are SEC caliber. You won’t win shite in the expanded SEC with your roster.

Please don't troll the recruiting board.

Eric Taylor edge rusher. #23 overall recruit, #4 for the position
Leon Bell OT #20 recruit overall #9 position
Keep being idiotic. Our class last year was pretty solid, and ended up about the same as y’all’s.
Ours was admittedly awful this year thanks to Arnett. We were ranked 51st but since Lebby was hired he has improved it and moved up to 36. We will see where it ends up and who he can nab in the portal to fill holes but so far he appears to be a good recruiter with the results he has had in a very short amount of time. There is reason for optimism but I don’t expect us to be good next year regardless. If Lebby gets us to a bowl I’ll feel good about him building the program back up

Could be one of the Van Buren boys. I wonder if he knows the secret sign. Kramer lucked out on the secret sign.
