Altmyer is "announcing" tomorrow at noon. He hopes to get a leg up recruiting MS kids at the MS/AL All Star game.

Leech has never taken a shot at Altmyer to my knowledge and surprise, seems he was locked in on Robertson and Greek despite having not one but two 4 star in state QB's.
Strange times indeed and IMHO a strategic mistake but we will see how it plays out.
This was not intended as a knock on Altmyer, kid is a baller and I hate to see him in red and blue, good pickup for you guys.

It certainly appears just like you said.
I believe if you have two players of equal or similar skill sets you take the in-state kid.
But Leach knows the qb who fits his system. I wouldn’t argue the choice if that’s his guy.

Sawyer Robertson was Leach's #1 target and I highly doubt Altmeyer has any interest in being part of a 2 QB class.
"Sucks" because Altmeyer is a Starkville guy but I think both teams will be happy in the long run.
