He was at 5th grade level at 16 . A foster kid, with no Dad, that's about to get a free ride at UGA. Sounds like a kid I'm gonna root for.

This thread, and a few others, got out of hand because Alabama "insiders" were saying UA didn't send a LOI to him because he wasn't expected to be able to qualify/enroll early just yet.

Georgia must have felt he was close. But, at least right now, it seems he won't be able to as it was suggested in December by those Alabama "insiders".

Not saying what I think but we have had players transcripts flagged because they were doing terrible in school then all of a sudden started doing good. Dumb rule honestly but that's why I wrote what I wrote. Yea I was being a fick with the preschool shite tho.

Easiest way to look at this (Joseph) from my angle, from what I can say-

He was torn, but flipped on his visit to Athens. How the frick do you tell Saban no? He ain't that big, I walked by him Monday, but I wouldn't.
He did it last minute, so he'd enter silent period. I only pass what I hear. I don't add or sugar-coat. NEVER heard an issue on grades. Ask Saint. Told him that on the 20th.

Now look at Bama's board at CB.
I know, all Bama posters know their board. Christ, it's got to be awesome to do this every year. Add Joseph to that board as well.

Had an amazing group of recruits hosting and he was in. I couldn't even tell Saint. Had to lie to him, but I didn't even tell UGA folks.


The grades issue pissed me off. Not with posters, but mods, and Bama's got great ones. To pass off like he wasn't a take on grades, well let's imagine it were your kid. Or to even bring it up really. Maybe I'm just someone that made mistakes as a youth as well lol.

Lots of other things I've mentioned with Saint considering recruits that we're both after. He'll tell you, I want them there, if not Athens..... And it's not for football related reasons. When you get to know recruits as they are.... kids.... It's a different game.
Some things aren't just grades and how they fit in your scheme when you know what's really happening to them.

Btw-Congratulations to Ridley. That young man will get paid! I'll be beaming with pride, knowing what he went through to walk on that stage in June

Much is done behind the scenes by both Bama and Georgia, that will never get recognized or known. Stories will be printed on scandals and whatnot, but believe it or not, certain programs care about these kids... All jokes aside.

There is about a 10% chance he ends up at Alabama. It is really unclear who leads though.

That 10% still means Alabama is in it.....We are talking about teenagers here, and Alabama has been, and will continue to be a big recruiting program.
