Fong called Manning and Alford both to A&M. If we can add Doyle and Johnson to that, that would be amazing.

Some more CBs came in for A&M. We really need this kid. Hope we get him!

I don't get all this love for A&M from Manning and Johnson? Nothing against A&M, but they aren't a blueblood. They will be one soon, but not yet. Mizzou really could use both of them.

It’s fine I don’t get the love for Mizzou either.

Manning is from KC and Johnson is from East St. Louis. Both said that they wanted to play for a blueblood and that's not Mizzou or A&M.

Bluebloods are built over decades of tradition and excellence on the field. Nobody can "become one soon".

I don't know..Oklahoma used a multi-decade program of rampant cheating and bribery to gain their status. It was capped by Barry Switzer, drug arrests, rape, and felony violence. Now I know A&M has its own Jackie Sherrill baggage and Jimbo had his issues at Florida State. Still, no Sooner should come pounding their chest without acknowledging they represented the college football equivalent of ISIS for a long stretch.

Not really... I do think OU has done it right under Stoops and Riley but the 1980s and prior were pure financial engineering.

But to the moderators point, we should discuss A&M and SEC recruiting. Switzer, Charles Thompson, Big Red Automotive and Rhett Bomar, Bosworth, etc are clutter here.

I remember going to Norman when the Sooners and young Josh Huepel hammered a pretty good A&M team. Stoops improvement was too fast for cheating... the staff was just amazing. It was sweet when you knocked off the Cornhuskers as those guys were the black hats of the day.

If no program can ever become a blueblood soon, then no program can ever become a blueblood. But that's stupid. So stop being stupid.

in less than 4 years, clemson went from "clemsoning" to becoming the dominant power in CF. When people outside of college station stop talking about A&M is when id be worried.

Clemson also has little to no competition within their conference. This league will always be a gauntlet. When Saban retires, I don't see there being any program winning championships every year.
