That'd be interesting. He's been silently committed to Ole Miss for months.

My understanding is that Arkansas offered, but as a DB. He supposedly wants to play WR. Evidently Hogs didn't project him as a WR for them.

Y’all clearly have an eye for receivers up there in Arkansas.

What we have right now (with the exception of Mike Woods, who is doing quite well) are Bielema receivers.
Morris is looking for something different.
Check our 2019 receiver recruiting class for more clarity on what we are recruiting, not what we already have.
Plus we are in on another top receiver.

Jadon jackson would be our lowest rated reciever, with the least size/speed combo, by a mile this class.

LOL. I'll give you Treylon Burks but Jackson is a legit 6'2" 4.4 guy. You can hate on OM for numerous reasons but you can't deny the fact they know how to recruit/develop Wr's. Jackson has NFL potential IMO.

If we didn’t have Burks, Shamar Nash and soon to be Trey Knox already then I’d love to have Jackson as a WR. Can’t afford to spend 5 spots on a receiver in one class.

If the guy who coached DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Martavis Bryant and Courtland Sutton prefers others as a receiver then I’ll go with that.

Ole Miss is very high on Jackson and are quite happy to have him in the boat.

Dude that’s kinda the point. We seem to have a knack for finding receivers. If it’s a guy we won’t maybe there’s s reason?

The dude who gave you all of your recievers got fired. You now have the fat coach. We had him last time.

He’ll be a threat with his speed but his size hurt him particularly in this class for the Hogs.

The projected overall roster number crunch back in the summer and not enough roster spots at WR in this class to take him especially early hurt him. They chased frankly higher end WR targets (Nash, TQ, Burks) gaining commitments from that trio and have chased others with size, our coaches offered him as an ATH and when he visited it was with the defensive staff about playing CB.

Our new staff made it a priority to address the one-on-one big body WR type or (9 as they call it). We have a roster full of undersized, can’t get separation, slow and with a quitters mentality that our coaches noticed through 4 games. The Nance news this week was only the start as they try to flip the WR room as quick as possible. Bielema also had 13 WRs taking up scholarships where Morris wants the number around 9-10.

Glad to see him get to play in the SEC. Arkansas doesn't produce many every year that are SEC material, so it's good to see one.
Unfortunately, now and then their desires/our needs just don't mesh. Sometimes one just wants to go out of state.
Wish them a great career, just not against us!

This was probably the most baffling thing about Bielema. We lived in 12, 21 and 22 personnel under him but then we have 13 WRs on the roster. Just absolute terrible roster management.
