Brother of Bama WR Henry Ruggs III. Bama slow played and hasn't offered yet, and it looks like they won't. Ruggs projects to play OLB at the next level but played mostly WR/TE at the HS level.

A&M offered him late and was trying to get a visit for the last weekend, looks like a solid player, nice get.

Seems to be a good kid and good pickup

Wish we had a spot for him. He is going to be good when he gets some weight on him.

We didn't slow play him. Didn't have a spot for him.

Always liked this kid. If ya'll run a 4-3 scheme or a 4-2-5 hybrid look he's a perfect fit for that SAM spot against spread teams. Big enough to play the run & also quick enough to cover TEs or bigger slot WRs. Solid pickup

Ole Miss is going to have half their class from Alabama. Freddie Roach and Jason Jones doing work, I guess.

Jason Jones has recruited Texas for us up until this point. Not sure if he was reassigned or not.
I think it's more McGriff and Roach for this class.
Ruggs is also comfortable with the new LB coach, Sumrall who previously recruited him from Troy.

Will be a solid player in a few years.
Wish Bama had a spot for him.

Not enough room in this Bama class, so I hoped they might be able to take him as a blueshirt. Best wishes for him.

Lord knows we could use a decent LB

Seen him play about 4 or 5 times this year. He didnt show much or make many plays for Lee High. He will definitely be a project at OLB.

Yeah, he played mostly offense and only had 30 catches.
