I guess we should ask LSU since their starting qb is now in College Station.

the LSU recruiting board is absolutely amazing right now

Enjoy it while you can.
O left a mess.
Enjoy trying to control all these kids that mostly came to a&m for money.
I will say it now. Evan stewart won't finish his career at a&m.

I agree, he should have a long pro career

Seems like a solid 25+% of 4 and 5* will wind up transferring at some point. Just the way the world is now.

Chalky - you are missing the point. We will build our two deep, and the “misses” will transfer. There are always misses in recruiting

If so, it’s a good thing Chris Marshall looked better

Idk. Shemar Stewart could start tomorrow. I think Perk needs to put on weight
Maybe but he apparently did 28 Reps on the 225 lb Bench Press. Dude is strong.

Thanks for recognizing it, Chalky…
Ed O. and LSU collapsed after 2019, and A&M is benefitting from LSU’s mess.
Jimbo is taking advantage of LSU in recruiting, and he is battling Saban hard, which is the first step. There is legit reason for optimism. So we better enjoy it while we have it.
But he still needs to translate the talent into actually winning the West.

That doesn’t sound accurate.

NIL is going to balance college football. I for one am all for it. USC is going to be doing the same thing next year. As will Miami with Cristobal and multiple other schools.

The reality is any of these top recruits care about 2 things. Winning big and going to the League.
If A&M can't deliver then Jimbo will be fired and most of them will leave. If he can then...
BTW, that's how it works at LSU. And Bama. And UGA. And everywhere else. The key point is A&M at least will have the talent now to have a real shot.

If Miami signs Shemar Stewart you know that is accurate.

I think it’s going to do just the opposite. There’s probably a handful of schools that can realistically fork over the money to compete in recruiting.
I don’t like this new era at all to be honest but I don’t know that they can stop it.

I openly wonder how an open transfer market will impact the actual effectiveness of this class.
The very best will start. The others will become 2nd string or move to another program.
