Hope this is just a joke. We don't need another situation like that.

Nice get. But goddamn, what a douchey name to give your kid.

Is it really any better than Braxton, or Braydon?

It's actually a tribute to his grandfather, who was a gunner on a WWII bomber.

It's a REALLY good thing they didn't name him after his grandfather, who was known by his initials. V.D. Stockton. Can't make that shite up.

Should have named him bomber then.

Story sounds like they realized how terrible a name it was and made that up as cover.

I feel as if we've seen this story before.

Yeah. Who in the world would want to have two 5* for QBs on the team and be able to choose the best one to play? It is much better to have one and have no choice, because there has never been a highly rated QB that flamed out.

Some folks don't understand it's nice to have options and it creates serious competition on the roster. Which is a good thing.

I get it. they are still reeling from Justin Fields, but there is absolutely nothing to indicate that Georgia would have won anything if he had stayed. maybe we would and maybe we wouldn't. But give me as much talent as we can get any day. Let the best man win and if the loser transfers out, then so be it.

It's worked pretty decently for Alabama the past few years.

Yeah, with the possibility to end up like the Fields deal. But hey, if we can hold on to both, then I'm all for it.

Congrats! It's always better to have a few stud QBs competing for the starting job.

I don't care if we hang on to both of them, or not. Let the best man win and if the other guy transfers out (and 95% chance he will) then what have you lost? He wasn't going to play unless an injury happened or not. We have lost 5* players before, and yet we still want to sign more 5* players. Why would you ever not want to sign as many talented players as you can? Some will transfer out, but you get as many as you can hope they stick.

I can't imagine any scenario in which I would hope my team would miss on a talented player, unless he was a known cancer in the clubhouse or had committed a serious crime.

Does he plan to stick around for the long haul and compete at UGA? Is he really the anti-transfer portal QB?

“Georgia is where I am going and where I will graduate,” Stockton said on Saturday.
