Caleb Williams is a bad dude. Would love him being our QB in a few years.

King is a head-scratcher.
He was nearly perfect his junior year leading Longview to the 5A title. He had a very strong season with the exception of two games. The first was the televised ESPN matchup where he threw nothing but picks and was forcing passes into tough coverage all night long.
The second was a surprise loss to Dallas Jesuit last week in the playoffs. Longview was favored over a decent but not special Jesuit team. Longview could not move the ball all night long.
He had a great performance at the Elite 11 so there is something special there.

We also signed a 2021 kid named Eli Stowers who looks pretty special. He had a 5 TD performance last week leading Denton Guyer in the playoffs.

Yeah... As an athletic QB I wouldn't touch our offense until I see a change at OC AND at least an adjustment in general philosophy...
