I get that, but that's not the point. Sopsher is not some rare talent like Leonard Fournette. he's not worth losing a spot for his brother

Qualifying is never a problem for Bama, everyone is aware of that
There isn't team sans Vandy that wouldn't take this kid's commitment. So STFU.

Any LSU that thinks they can not get a kid qualified is one of two things. 1) a troll trying to get you to bite or 2) a idiot that truly believes that LSU is a prestigious institution of higher learning
As mentioned with the exception of Vandy, who I hear now does have a few exceptions for entrance, every SEC school has many football players if not for their ability and the great NCAA sliding scale would never qualify as a just a student.

Sorry to upset you with facts

One thing that we do know is Bama has some special qualifying power. Exhibit Eddy Lacy.

Eddy Lacy
Didn't he make up like 2 years of credits in one summer? I know it was impossible for him to make it up in time and he did anyway.

I am sure you have first hand knowledge and were directly involved with coaching staffs at both colleges.

Well I could care less about your biased opinion,I’ll go with the info from a former Griffin

I'm wondering if the LSU fanbase will b mad when he commits to Alabama..

ETA: Per a very reliable LA-based insider, Ish Sopsher's grades will not be an issue. He was spot-on with Surtain's recruitment last winter and has maintained since February that Ish will be wearing Crimson. Hank also said he hasn't heard of grades being a concern. It's probably a rumor originating from LSU fans.

Wasn’t this referenced from BOL?

So he guessed and you didn't bold that part. Cool, dude.

The grades rumor was directly from Bama's own 247 site by a Bama poster...

A guy on bol just asked Hank about this

The tale becomes taller and taller every year.

Only thing funny is that he qualified
Posted on 7/23/18 at 3:45 pm to Bama3714
Eddie was a very, very, very long shot to qualify. I don't think many people on the internet know the specifics other than that.
It was assumed by basically every program, besides Alabama, that he would be a grade casualty. Alabama somehow got him qualified. That just made people question how they pulled it off when it was considered a near impossibility.
That isn't an indictment of the standards of the Alabama education system compared to LSU's. We all know football player grade requirements are a whole different ball game than your average student for every school, even Vandy.

Exactly,it’s the fact that they pulled it off when he obviously shouldn’t have made it
