Wait, does LSU actually think they have a chance with Gunnell?

You sure about that? Brian Perroni just posted this 90 minutes ago.

quote:

Though Aggie fans were hoping Gunnell shut his recruitment down after the event, especially concerning an upcoming trip to Arkansas, that does not look like it will be the case. "I might go up there," he said of Fayetteville. Gunnell will likely take some other trips as well. "I'm still committed but I might take a few visits," he said. "I'm not really sure right now where."

I think that was meant in the terms of LSU. I can see arky getting involved, but Grant probably deleted O's phone number

Yes Arkansas is a real threat tbh. Can easily see it coming down to A&M or Arkansas.

Pissed off jelly Chad is on a mission to ruin A&M since he realized he’ll never be HC here.

He’s been and was always going to be an Arkansas target until the very end.

Way too many Arkansas ties and hiring Chad only helped.

What are the Arkansas ties outside of Chad? Was actually wondering about that earlier.

his parents went to arky. i believe his granddad played with jerry too. i think he'd be foolish to not at least check them out and see what morris has to say given his record with QBs...but i hope he doesnt.

Grandfather Jim Price played linebacker on 64 national championship team. Mom (undergrad) and Dad (masters) both have degrees from Fayetteville.

Despite the assurances that Gunnell gave in interviews yesterday, it sounds like he is conflicted because of his family's ties to Arkansas. I can totally understand that. On the one hand, he knows that there is reason for him to lock in and lead a great class. One the other hand, he doesn't want to cut off Arkansas completely, given his family connections. It's a tough spot.

Its been made pretty clear he's very unhappy about not getting the A&M job and has a chip on his shoulder. He was known as Aggie Chad.

Running Back
Tackle

And it's going to hurt running a new system with a new QB. Etling wasn't great, but he managed the game with a plus OC.

This is true

Tackle

This is not, we return our LT and Traore is enrolled from JUCO already (#2 JUCO OT).

You would have been better to point out the interior OL than OT.
