I don't know if Henry announces today.....I was just goosing the BOL mods. A little unspoken war we have going on.

BTW, Go Reds! Beat that politically incorrect team from The Mistake By The Lake!

D Walker in a post AU interview said he has not been in contact with our staff lately. Did we back off and is he still visiting this week?

Hmmm. That's interesing. On TS, a poster who is in contact with Eddie Vanderdoes' father said he was told that Bama hasn't talked to him in 3 weeks. Could it be that Paige took their spot? I would think that we want to take 1 or 2 more DL so this is strange.

Here is something someone posted in a facebook message to me. I think it's from one of the sites

I don't have any earth-shattering inside info to pass along but have picked up some stuff frankly without even trying such as:
-Though I have no direct confirmation, the recent offer of McLeod likely means the Staff didn't like how high AJ was graded with the recent NFL Juniors Report. As I had previously mentioned, the strength of his projection would impact if UA would burn a second QB offer.

-Nothing new on Henry other than he was said to be a "private" even before last weekend's visit.

-Info out of Athens was that Richt followed Kamara's High School group around in his Golf Cart at their recent Camp as they went from Drill to Drill. It should also be noted that there is supposedly a Junior Stud that will be highly coveted next year on his Team.

-Don't overlook my past suggestion that Kenyan Drake will eventually move to the Secondary. There is no direct confirmation but the kid is hearing from local confidants to maximize his NFL options and I would be surprised if that's not in the Staffs minds too.

-I agree with redfish & others prediction that Dodd will compete with Kelly at Center.

-In my personal opinion, OJ Howard will ultimately get his wish to initially get a look at WR with HB talent already on board and on the way. I still believe Kurt Frietag is being overlooked and that kid is a player. Frietag's only negative remarks here locally in Atlanta was that fellow Teammate's Dads have remarked that he was an outstanding receiving target but went down too easy after the catch. That was just the evaluations shared with me while hanging out at their Practice the day he verbaled to UA last year.

-I agree with many of your assertions that all indications are that Saban's ultimate vision for Bama's Offense is to be lethal in the tradition of what his Buddy, Belichick, has created with the Patriots but much stronger in it's power running.

-There is a lot of anticipation for the upcoming Offense because as I've posted in the past, AJ put up strong numbers in '11 with no true X Receiver. Also, it should be repeated that it was pointed out that without elite size or speed from his main WR's, AJ had to hold the Ball longer because he couldn't throw into tighter windows while trusting his guy's would get separation or beat the close defender. AJ had to wait until the full completion of the patterns and the WR was clearly open but that should change this Season. Also, remember my previous info that the one subtle but important variation of what's essentially McIlwaine's System is that Nuss will make all the WR's available to AJ while Mac basically used all WR's other than Maze & Hanks as decoys. Nuss's philosophy is more in line with the NFL but Mac helped bring 2 Crystal Balls so don't consider this to be a negative comparison. Just wanted to make that clear.

-Local reports here in Atlanta gives slight pause on Nkemdiche with an Staff Assistant at Grayson openly telling people it's LSU with Clemson running second. I will continue to stick with UA even with the negative recruiting regarding the 3-4.

-I have no doubt both UF & UAU are doing their best to turn DeMarcus Walker but I've heard nothing to give me pause after his "private" last month.

-AU's top verbal pledge, Carl Lawson, is now being trained locally here in Atlanta by former UT player & former top Bama target in High School, Constantin Ritzman. Constantin and I have a mutual friend, who is also a UTK Booster, and according to Ritzman, Lawson is truly a physical specimen who has shared that his UAU pledge is not firm and he strongly prefers the 3-4 which is giving UTK and others an opening. Also, though not a 3-4, the kid is intrigued with USC and will be treking over to California soon. It should also be noted that the kid has evidently grown since his initial evaluations by UGA & UA where he was listed at only 6'1" which hurt him in their eyes.

-With the recent word from redfish that Jonathan Allen is moving inside, that is an intriguing proposition because it will allow the kid to have an opportunity be be used like Hightower, who could immediately put his hands on the ground and rush the passer. "If" my strong reservations about Foster ultimately signing are disproved, you could have a scenario of the kid manning the "Will" which is scary if that happens.

-As I've posted in the past, Bradley Sylve has a lot of longterm potential and is considered a true Football Guy not just a Track Guy playing the Sport. He is very physical and instinctive but is still learning while Jabriel Washington is in the same category but even with strong coverage skills, he gets beat by more physical WR's right now as he physically matures.

-You folks should remember to adjust your available Signee slots due to Deon Johnson going Juco and Paige will be close.

-It appears that the Staff is envisioning like myself in not just pursuing another Championship but fielding a Team that can legitimately be compared to the '01 Miami squad in terms of greatness and talent. We're probably not quite there but many believe we're getting closer especially after the expected Elite talent coming. My prediction is as long as Saban remains healhy, the '14/'15 squads will be scary especially with a seasoned QB under Center.

-The info I recently shared about the Weightroom and Movie Theater or Players Lounge is said to be in line with Saban's creation at LSU to another level. UTK's new Complex is said to be very strong but UA will likely open the floodgates for who will offer the best Players Lounges. I wonder how the smaller Schools and less wealthy top Programs like FSU will respond using the NCAA but unlike what they did with Athletic Housing, I don't believe there's a recourse.

I'm ready to see some schematics and video updates on this thing.

I hear that Ringling Brothers has an old big top tent they might be willing to part with. They may even allow you to borrow a couple of elephants to help with putting it up.

Well, I think the baseball facility is first on the UGA agenda.

And quite honestly, I still think a full-length indoor practice facility is the biggest waste of money possible. By all means though, make sure the players' lounge comes with personal chefs and masseuses.

As it should be. Foley needs updating in a BAD way.

But recruiting is all about first impressions nowadays. When they kid walks onto campus, the more stuff you can show them, the more impressed they're going to be
