Am I the only one that doesnt want a 2nd QB in this class? Make no mistake, i trust Saban completely but spaces are so limited... do we really want to offer a scolly to a decent/pretty good QB over another 4* beast? I wish we would just call it a day at QB and get another 4/5* guy next year. By all indications we will have McCarron for '13... being backed up by Ely, Morris and Bateman(EE). Maybe its just me but I would rather take a chance on a kid like Ulric Jones than a ginger ball slinger...

I dont think he will. I think with the way QB's are valued in the NFL he is a first round pick next year.

Look at it from AJ's perspective. If he stays for 2013 and has a new O-line, how badly could that damage his draft status while trying to throw passes from his butt?

I respectfully disagree sir. I think next year their will be a TON of QB's taken in the draft early and AJ would have to have a serious breakout year to even consider it. As it stands now, IMO!!!!, he would be taken behind: /takesoffhomerhat

I would be a good bit more worried if it wasnt for all the talent on the table but I can see him coming back for '13, having a strong year and being a 2nd/3rd round pick at worst, maybe even first. Im a huge AJ fan but I also realize its hard for him to showcase his true talent in Sabans system... RTR!

He would need to jump Landry Jones and/or Braysus to get a 1st round grade IMO. He is capable of doing that since Jones is about as tough as a 5 year old and Bray is a piece of shite, but as it stands right now I'd say he's a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Even that would probably be good enough to get him to jump though. He will already have a degree and a NC to his name. Nothing more to do in college at that point.
