More notes from Greg Cosell.
Editor’s Note: Since the NFL season concluded, Greg Cosell has been studying coaching tape of this year’s NFL Draft prospects.
Trent Richardson is the best player in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Though he won’t be the 1st pick in the Draft and may not even go Top 5, Richardson is far and away the best running back in this draft
He is the best back to come out since Adrian Peterson in 2007. Richardson is a foundation back, a tempo setter for an offense.
“@gregcosell: Richardson has most critical traits necessary to be elite: Lateral explosion, short area burst, natural power, great balance + body control.”
“@gregcosell: Richardson can be effective in any scheme: zone or power. A compact physical runner with great feet and deceptive speed. A great runner.”

I think the browns may take trent. Hillis signed with chiefs.
Browns signed Ben Tate this morning, they are taking Blackmon

the bucs will take claiborne, imo... no way they take a RB. With Barber being 58 years old, and taleeb going to prison, they need another CB.
They can get a decent RB at any point... heck, Blount was a solid back the last two years and he was a undrafted FA.
Greg Schiano wants to make the team tougher more physical, just signed the best run blocking OG, they will target CB in the 2nd rd, Mo will fall he isn't physical and serious questions about his game in the NFL
Bucs will take Trent

Mary Kay Cabot ? @MaryKayCabot Nothing at all to rumor that Browns will trade for Texans' RB Ben Tate. Zero chance of happening I'm told.

The longer he waits the better shot Bama has, UF made a big impression though I won't deny that
You are doing the same
Difference with Bama is precedence with Julio, none with the staff at UF
There are a lot of factors working in this battle unkown to people, Bama has a better shot than you think

BamaOnLine is proud to announce that we are expanding our staff and have hired Trevor Hewett to serve as a full-time reporter covering both Alabama athletics and recruiting.
For the past three years, Trevor served as a recruiting specialist for the University of Alabama and was responsible for cutting and organization of film, prospect research, assisting in operation of Nick Saban Football Camps, assisting with execution of Game day recruiting, assisting staff on execution of official visits, daily maintenance of prospect database and preliminary evaluation of prospect film.
Trevor will join Tim Watts, Charles Power, Chris Walsh, Travis Reier, T.G. Paschal and Shane Youngblood to bring you expanded coverage of Alabama football, basketball and recruiting.
With this new addition, BamaOnLine will look to take a giant leap in expanding our multimedia coverage with significantly more player and prospect photos and enhanced video coverage. Trevor will also play a key role in insuring that the BOL staff has a significant role for our customers on the BOL Round Table, the largest Alabama fan message board on the ‘net.
From Tim Watts, who runs the day to day operations of BOL:
“It is already clear that Trevor has a unique passion for this business. Combined with his knowledge and work ethic, we expect him to quickly become a significant contributor to the site. Having another full-time resource that resides in Tuscaloosa opens the door for many more coverage and reporting opportunities for BOL.”
From Shannon Terry, publisher and CEO of 247Sports:
“We are pleased that Trevor chose to come work with BOL. He has a wealth of knowledge about Alabama football and recruiting and his insights on the program and player personnel will prove to be invaluable in our efforts in providing Alabama fans with the very best product possible.”

The "highlights" of todays Nuggets were that Max Browne and Cooper Bateman were both coming to A-Day (along with Connor Mitch and Mitch Trubisky) and that they both will be staying for multiple days.
Max Browne spent 3 days at Oklahoma a couple weeks ago and could make his decision after leaving Alabama.

Max Browne
You guys member a while ago what I said
& I know I know Saint you like Hack
better but he should be dead to you know
We goin H.A.M. all in for Browne
& you guys could be very right about Browns taking Trent wouldn't shock me, just hearing they are desperately trying to solve RB problem before the draft so they can take Blackmon who they really like & if they take Trent, Mo will go to the Bucs
Should be interesting, also Bills have now signed Mario, Dareus going beast mode next yr

Well, I don't know if we can pull Browne. Distance will certainly play a role and Kiffin has the whole "step right into the starter spot since Barkley is leaving" recruiting pitch, so I think he ends up at USC. Hell, Stoops is probably pitching the same thing due to Landry Jones leaving after this season.
I'll be happy as a pig in shite if we get him. I just don't think we will.
I think it comes down to Bateman and Malik Zaire honestly.
And frick Hackenberg.

Keep dreaming on Browne. Kid won't leave the West Coast. I feel like it's a Bama/UF battle for Bateman.

Mo will not fall. He's not physical? You obviously have never watched him closely.

Browne will leave the left coast. His brothers did the same thing.

I know his oldest brother is in LA and went to a small school in Cali. I think his other two brothers also went to school out of state with one coming toward the east coast. Max coming south is not out of the question even if it is a "pipe dream". One can always hope.

Not to mention they just hired our DB coach. That almost guarantees them Mo

I'm not saying you cannot hope. Hell, I would love for a stud QB to leave the West Coast just one damn time. It wouldn't even piss me off if he went to Bama because of how Saban will have that O run. It may set a precedence for other top QB's to go to the SEC from the West Coast. I'm just saying with Browne's situation, I highly doubt it happens.

Just because his brothers left doesn't mean he will leave.
