We flipped Yeldon and Cyrus at the last minute. Not to mention giving you guys Calloway then taking him away. Own it. Cam year was fun, but we own that arse on the field and on the recruiting trail. Auburn's 2013 class will be good, but I assure you that our group will be better.

Better on paper, probably. No telling how that talent produces on the field.

Howard had some interesting things to say about Alabama and how the DT and RB lost their scholarships late last year.

Looks like we're in for a fun ride this year with this pitch

And on another note, DL De'Asian Richardson committed to FSU. Bama offered him a week or so ago...

Meh. Negative recruiting backfires more times than not.

Oh, I'm not worried

Just surprised we've seen evidence this early of it's usage...

gotta strike while the iron's hot.... two months from now no one will remember Darius Philon's situation...

from howard's quote, the only way we end up with him is if he gets hurt...

I wanted De'Asian Richardson for name purposes only.

I don't blame anyone for using it, it's a no mercy business.

I hope Autauga doesn't end up playing a game on "Lesion Field", or he will get hurt

(I realize Legion isn't that bad)

Sucks that it really hit us hard with the 2012 class, although it still finished top 10. Missing out on Channing Ward, Deon Bush, Ronald Darby, Eddie Goldman, Leonard Williams, etc... really hurt.

I'm sure opposing staff used it early on for the 2012 class, but the public perception did AU in more than anything. That can be worse than what any coach can say in a living room.

De'Asian Richardson has now de-committed from Florida State. This may be a record for shortest commitment.

Must have woken up with an itchy crotch courtesy of the sluts the FSU coaches set him up with on his visit.

I don't think you've been the best every year, but okay. We've been much better than absolutely fine. It'll show this year.

So you think this year will be a good year for yall?

You get a little bit too much personal fulfillment from something you have no control over.

Other than your dumbassery, have been enjoying the thread.

Depends. All negative recruiting tactics are not equal. You can create doubt without out and out shite-talking your competition.

All schools negative recruit. Not with every prospect mind you, but it happens.

That was my point. If an assistant or head coach is point blank "dogging" a school to gain an advantage, then it can often backfire. However, for example, if a coach is pointing out how they use certain talents in their system that the competition doesn't, then that will often work. That would still be "negative recruiting", but it's not a low down tactic.
