At the end of the day, you have to feel bad for the young man, it is sometimes easy to forget these are kids.

There seems to be some false assumption that Parks was committed to Alabama and his offer was pulled today.
Parks has never been committed to Alabama. When the class filled up his offer became contingent on other players at positions of bigger needs, that's recruiting. I have a hard time feeling sorry for a kid with multiple SEC offers because he didn't get on board when he had the opportunity. This would be like Amik Robertson (contingent offer) crying because he couldn't sign with LSU
