We should make annual odds bets on which recruit Bammer will pull an offer from at the signing table

The crazier story here is Bama is getting a top 100 player to grayshirt (for now at least). Let that one rattle around for a bit

Not Bama's fault he didn't set his announcement time later than the guy who had dibs on that scholarship.

Yeah. We're very embarrassed for having a top 100, Army All-American, grey shirt. We're humiliated.

Nobody's embarrassed about getting a greyshirt from a guy Auburn would have nutted over.

Embarrassed?

A top 100 player decided to take a grayshirt from Alabama while he had very solid offers from other top programs. Why the hell should we feel embarrassed?

I said embarrassed this morning... remember, when Saban pulled his offer at the signing table and made him cry in front of all those people and cameras. Then the media picked up on it, Bammer crawfished and gave him a gray shirt. I'm actually applauding you for that part, no one would've guessed he'd accept.

Saban is probably as up front with recruits as it gets. The guys heart was set on Bama, and he knew Ray was taking his scholarship. The media just rolled with assumed bullshite. If anything, ESPN and whoever else claimed he had a commitable offer should be embarrassed, or Parks should've done his commitment after Ray.

But feel free to continue pushing whatever story you want to believe. We'll just keep grey shirting top 100 recruits
