In your opinion, who are the top 10 single teams in CFB history? Mine are

1. 2019 LSU
2. 1995 Nebraska
3. 2001 Miami
4. 2004 USC
5. 2018 Clemson
6. 2005 Texas
7. 1971 Nebraska
8. 2009 Alabama
9. 1972 USC
10. 1979 Alabama

I wanted to put 2008 Florida and/or 2011 Alabama somewhere but decided to stick with undefeated teams to make it simple

After watching the ole miss offense against LSU I’m wondering if LSU could’ve slowed that Nebraska d and they could have played keep away

Combine 19 LSU offense with 11 LSU defense and that would have been scary

Compare LSU’s healthy D at the end of the season rather than the middle of the year. Night and day difference.

What is your criteria for Top 10?

Overall talent level?

Overall results?

Overall “completeness” (leadership, teamwork, effort, depth)?

01 Miami
08 Florida
04 USC
15 Bama
19 LSU
12 Bama
18 Clemson
16 Bama
14 Ohio St
11 Bama

Any team pre 2000 would get they asses kicked by any of these modern teams.

In order for someone to have an opinion, their team must have won a National championship within the last 80 years.

So aggot isn’t allowed to have an opinion.

1994 Nebraska & Penn State teams would be in my top 10

Penn State (12-0) finished #2, put up 38 points on both USC and Oregon, 60+ on Ohio State and Iowa. A combined 90 points on Michigan and Michigan State.

Also, the game was decided before halftime on a cold November night. The team was ready to go home. I’m glad it happened because from them on, that defense played lights out

No team will ever play another from another season. You can only go by who they played that season.

Bama, UGA, OU, Clemson and Florida went 60-4 vs the field.

LSU beat them all by an average of 20 points.

This is not even a debate.

they would have lost at least 5 games without cam, and even with him they struggled against most teams.

Disagree.

That 04 Auburn team struggled against a 6-6 Alabama team and only won by eight.

2010 Auburn rallied from 24 down against one of the most talented Bama teams of the last ten years.
