Is beating a Saban led Bama team more sweeter than a Bear led Bama team?

Our win over #1 Bama in 1980 was much better than when Saban got Croomed in 2007

I like it when we beat you in 2014 and then ran you out of your own house in 2015. The refs saved you in 2016 re-establishing the R.E.C.

I liked the pass bouncing off the Bama defensive back's helmet right to your WR for a TD. And also the one where your QB threw a TD pass running forward with lineman run blocking downfield. Both of those plays were great.

Losing by 11 in the CFP when it could have been way worse.

I remember it like it was yesterday.

The tigers came down to Birmingham, Alabama, on a Monday night in September 1975 and played one of their best games. The Tide had not lost a single game in the previous two years.

Alabama was an absolutely devastating team; in the 11 games that followed the game with Missouri, the Tide would once again catch fire, ripping off 11 wins with an absurd scoring margin of 367-52. But in front of a nationally televised audience on September 8, the Tide got absolutely thumped by Al Onofrio's Missouri Tigers.

This thread makes me proud. You know your team made it when this many memories exist from other teams beating you here and there.

2012, easy.

We were supposed to be the sacrificial lamb to the slaughter that year and only Gata and LSU bested us. Florida caught us early, when JFF was showing flashes of what he was about to do. LSU, well those damned tigers just bottled us up. For whatever reason, they had Johnny's number for sure.

But, in a loss, I think it was the 2013 game maybe that was at A&M which IMO was even more entertaining to watch than 2012. It was an cornucopia of big plays for both teams. It's where Mike Evans made Johnny his many millions, IMO.

it was never 42-20. You must have been drunk like most OSU fans.

I don't think he's even a true O$U fan. He googled the scores and accidently looked at the Oregon score. OSU was better than Bama that night, but they were never blowing them out.

Did you use google to look up the score and picked the wrong game? Good job using google to act like you know what happened in that game, but you still couldn't get the score right. O$U fans are one obnoxious bunch. Georgia fans are obnoxious right now, but O$U fans are obnoxious year round.

Local 5 points legend Stephen Garcia, putting the hurt on the Tide, heck he even felt nice and gave the tide 2 free points

Was at Bama in 2012, Tide fans were welcoming but slightly arrogant. Was at Bryant museum and walked out and about 75 Bama fans were lined up on the walk. Stopped and about that time Bama players in street clothes started trickling out and walking from one side to the other. Saban came walking through with AJ. One of the coaches came out toward the end and paused a bit when he got to us and saw my A&M stuff and said “Welcome to the SEC” in an almost condescending tone. One of the local idiots across from us said real loud “they gonna find out today coach” and a few of the people around us chuckled.

Well, they sure sure as frick weren’t laughing after the game. That was a SWEET victory considering the circumstances and local arrogance undertones.

Most Bama fans were good folks.

2000 or 2019. 2011 round one was too but round 2 kind of made that game lose it's "sweetness" for obvious reasons

Kind of like when we passed down-field and your DB ran out of bounds then back in the field of play, was ruled a catch by the official on the field, then Doyle Jackson the Alabama alum overturned the call on an unreviewable (at that time) play.

How about when the official looked back at the first down marker and moved the ball up for you gifting you a first down?

How about when they called a TD back from us because our RB dove into the endzone?

I could go on and on about bad calls if you want to play this game. We still kicked your arse in 2014 and 2015.

Definitely 2013 with the Kick 6, one of the best moments in sports over the last 20 years.

2nd place is the 2010 Camback

3rd place is 2005 with the "honk if you sacked Brodie" game
