Starting lineup
PG: Eddie Johnson
G: Wesley Person
C: Johni Broome
PF: Charles Barkley
SF: Marquis Daniels

Though I'd be tempted to make Jabari Smith the starting center of I was trying to build the best college team.

None of the Auburn lists have anyone from our Final 4 run on them or the late 90's Chris Porter team.

Broome > Kessler > Ndiaye (more impactful)
Barkley
Porter > Jabari (lacked Porter's confidence/passion)
Brown/Person/Daniels (toss up, Brown delivered in clutch, but the other two are NBA)
Doc/Harper (toss up, Harper stepped up like few others)

Never saw Eddie Johnson or Mengelt play.

Might be the most exciting college player I have ever seen. Him and I'll include Charles Barkley.

I don’t know who TJ Tucker is, but PJ Tucker is still dribbling.

I pair Peeler with Larry Drew, but would have a tough time leaving Sunvold off.
I'd also have a hard time not finding a spot for Rickey Frazier or Doug Smith.

Because Haislip was 1000x the athlete and would run circles around Boerwinkle.

Knecht can play the 2 no problem.

Anything else?

I'm guessing you never saw Pistol Pete live. Article in the link is from Georgia Men's Basketball. It says one of the greatest 16 moments in Stegeman Coliseum history was when Pistol scored 58 points (41 in second half) of an LSU win over Georgia. See Quote from the rticle below.

LINK

"Mar. 8, 1969 - LSU's Maravich scored Stegeman Record 58 points
NCAA career scoring leader Pete Maravich of LSU set the Coliseum's single-game scoring record in a 58-point performance that included 41 points after halftime. His final basket - and the minute leading up to it - are the stuff of legends. Nursing an 8-point lead, Maravich dribbled out the final minute of the second overtime with a Globetrotter-like exhibition, capped by a 35-foot hook shot at the buzzer. He and his Tiger teammates were then mobbed by UGA fans and cheerleaders."

Yes, the Coliseum was entertained, Maximus.

stout!

Mahmoud was always a fun watch for me.

I saw Pistol when he was with the Jazz. Elgin Baylor was their HC. They beat GS in OT when Rick Barry missed a FT.

It's an impossible lineup to beat. And, I'm sure there is a 6th man out there that would make it even more lethal.

Brandon bass, Rudy Macklin,Big baby, john hot plate Williams, Marcus thronton, Garrett Temple, and Tyrus Thomas make a pretty solid bench
