Makes no difference to me.. just tell us who to play and we'll show up.. I work on it trying to figure out a puzzle that will make "most" happy.. some wouldn't be happy even if you gave them everything they wanted..

I don't hate or dislike Missouri.

They are a redheaded stepchild like Arkansas.

Now Texas is easily hated because of the arrogance.

It was Arkansas as David vs. Texas as Goliath in all types of sports.

Makes sense. Not really a rival when you lose to Bama 80% of the time. Especially at home

Do you have any rivals at all then?

Understood, but conferences aren’t going to shrink in #’s (unless they’re being deleted).

So, more teams = more cg’s (or face the endless posts about matchups taking forever).

Reading through the responses and getting a chuckle out of the predictable Arkansas responses. I've never seen a school try so hard to nestle into the tit of better programs to try and legitimize themselves. Arkansas is nothing more than the tick on Texas and LSU's ballbags.

I would count that as an “obvious game”…especially since all other same-state schools games are listed in that section.

I don't think most SEC peeps realize how quickly an Oklahoma-Arkansas game would became a big rivalry.

Tulsa is a huge base for Arkansas alum... and NW Arkansas' emergence as a regional power has attracted a lot of Tulsa people over there.

The NW Arkansas and Ft Smith area Arkansas fans already despise OU and we don't even play. People in eastern Oklahoma either root for the Hogs or hate 'em big time.

Although the remainder fo the two states are kind of out of the loop on all that (OKC/Little Rock)... I don't think it would take long for them to join in.

Arkansas and South Carolina are last on the totem pole when it comes to SEC politics. They only care about the old guard and those priorities come first.

I have never seen a fanbase try so hard to force another into believing they should be rivals.

Arkansas has a more storied history with Ole Miss, LSU, Texas, and Texas A&M than they ever will with Missouri. It is just a fact and no matter how much sky screaming Missouri fans do, that fact will never change. It is always funny to me when over and over again, Arkansas fans put Missouri so far down their list of importance for football games, Missouri fans come in screaming.

Arkansas has been in the SEC since 1991-92. Arkansas was a member of the same league with Texas & aTm for 77 years. Those rivalries evolved over time and were bolstered by some memorable and meaningful games. As have the games and series with LSU & Ole Miss through the years.

There is just simply no meaningful history with Missouri. Even though the states border, they never played hardly any games prior to Missouri joining the SEC.
