but that’s what some posters on Auburn boards say regarding Julian Lewis. Furthermore, USC has Lincoln Riley, and like him or not, but he may be the best Qb coach in college football.

Who on earth would say this? Pretty sure USC has more billionaire alums than any other serious football program out there. Maybe Michigan is close.

It doesn’t matter either way. Salary cap is coming eventually. And rich people aren’t going to give unlimited funds to 18 year olds who haven’t played a down forever. Rich people are really good at not wasting money.

The amount of money USC has is irrelevant if their boosters aren't willing to spend it on sports, the Auburn boosters are. Judging by USC's trash facilities and waning fan support, their money doesn't mean shite.

As a university and alumni base, of course USC has more money than AU. But does AU have more boosters crazy enough to give an 18 year old several million with nothing in return? Quite possibly.

USC billionaires don’t care about football.

Auburn’s do.

Wait and watch. Texas had been irrelevant since 2006 till Sarkisian arrived. USC won the 2 national titles before Texas, and they, too, will find the right coach, and when they do the boosters will support him, same as UT boosters are supporting Sarkisian.

I guess that’s why USC has won more national titles than nearly any other program and Auburn has won 2

Auburn’s ultra-rich boosters love CFB more. USC’s are sitting behind home plate for Dodger’s games & hanging out at Rubin parties.

We can always rely on you to let us know what is being said on the Auburn boards. Keep up the hard work, the rest of us don’t have the time to check all of them out.

This.

Similar to Miami. Should be knocking it out the park consistently but the fanbase isn’t engaged enough.

My response is not to the OP, my response is to the Auburn posters that always respond. Please, stop being stupid.

Or, let's flip it and say that the fanbase for teams like Miami aren't engaged enough because the team isn't good enough. Whoa, blew your mind with that one didn't I?

USC's fanbase used to be extremely engaged before Reggie Bush and his moocher family fricked over the team and USC eventually got worse and worse and worse over the seasons after the crippling sanctions really set in good.

Same with Miami during the mid-80's through the mid 90's, until Alabama broke their spirit and crushed their will to continue except for a few good seasons in the early 2000's.

Miami had one of the most rabid and supportive fanbases around. Now they suck so they don't have fans or booster support to really speak of.

It's cause and effect.

Having money and spending the money are quite different things.

Some people get off on being able to say they can buy anything they want, and some people actually spend the money.

I think the only way USC spends the money is if they become trendy. Then it could be a nightmare.

USC's NIL program is a fraud. That's why they're getting so many decommits. Their own fans see it.

If the OP's upvotes tell you anything, it's that the majority of 'Bama fans here wish he'd stop making these shitty threads as well.
