Tenner fans always do this. Heard the same crap with Harrison Bailey and Jarrett G-howeveryouspellit. You folks always set your own asses up for it.

Your problem is clearly that you don't know anything about recruiting to draw comparisons to any of those guys.

Well, I won't attack you, but I'll give you an honest post to your thread here. Nico looks like a good QB that will probably do well. But here's the problem...UT played 3 really good teams last season; UGA, Bama and Mizzou, and got trashed by all three. Why? They lack the overall talent to make the jump back into the elite of the SEC. Look around, you can get a 4 or 5 star QB anywhere these days, from the portal if you have to. Everyone has them. Gunner Stockton, our 2nd string QB was a 5 star coming out of HS. But what kind of supporting cast does the Vols have to help out a potential star QB?

Last season, Tenny was ranked 7th in the SEC in recruiting. That's good against Iowa, but not UGA or Bama. Sure, they can hit the portal for help, but so can everyone else, if they need to.

Bottom line....Tenn is a mediocre program at best right now, which is better than being a complete dumpster fire, which is what they've been for a long time. Be content with that. It's is good as its gonna be for a while.

I’m lying in bed right now with his mom. After what I did to her last night, she won’t be getting up for quite some time.

I shouldn't even be replying to this but Tennessee will almost always pull in more talent than Mizzou.

Heupel inherited an empty roster because of Pruitt and the portal and has been building it back up ever since. Winning 11 games was nothing short if amazing in 2022 but we have PLENTY of talent this year.

Mizzou has some players but Tennessee usually pulls in better classes especially if we have a competent coach. Our classes will continue to get better as we have been restricted by number of schollies because of pruitt during Heupel's first few years.

Talent is not a problem though. Gtfo with that weak old tired BS narrative. The best WRs and offensive players in the nation all want to be a part of Heupel's system especially after what they will witness this season. We are going to put up some big big numbers again this year.

According to athlon sports, we have the 15th most talented roster in the nation while Mizzou is number 24 and we just hauled in the #13th ranked class.

For reference, Michigan is number 13 so i really don't see what the issue is, especially considering the fact our overall talent rankings will rise substantially in the next few years.

CFB roster rankings 2024

I see LSU at number 7 on this list. I think this year without JD we will see the real Brian Kelly and what kind of coach he is. I'm expecting a terrible season by them despite their overall talent rankings.

Translation: Vols about to go in dry this year against Bama's soft but emotionally available pac 10 finesse coach. His players will have someone to cry with inside the lockeroom and on the bus after the arse whooping inmean game is over at least.

Heupel 's offense is going to run right through around and over you guys and i expect to see tonnes of defensive coverage busts as your new D tries to frantically adjust and Nico spots and creates the misalignments with his elite vision and football IQ.
