blew a massive halftime lead where they were dominating in every way. make excuses all you like. it is the same. so i remembered it wrong, it was 21-0, not 28-0. very similar.

No he has not. The largest was to TN 21-0 in his first year.

if you think they're different in any meaningful way, relative to the OP's point, you're beyond delusional. katrina is a valid excuse for the team on the field, but not the coaches. not AFTER we're up several scores.
the only pwning of me was done by myself, remembering the halftime score of that game incorrectly. but nice try piling on while not joining the fray.

just looking at a recap of today's game, and realized that my memory of the halftime score of the iron bowl was faulty as well.
24-7, not 24-3 as i thought. a smaller lead than we had hosting tenn in 05.
21-0 (us, then); 24-7 (UA, today.)
so the posters saying i should be "skullraped" and whatnot for "spewing" "misinformation" and "anal leakage" can stew on that for a bit.
but even if these differences hadn't been true, the comparison of both choke jobs would have been valid anyway. ours was just more understandable.

It was over after you kicked that FG to go up 24. That was the nail in your coffin. Even my fricking wife, who knows 0 about football, said, Watch the other team take over this game.
You know what you should've done after that FG? Onside kick. Even if you don't recover the ball, it tells your boys We are not gonna sleep through the rest of this game, we are gonna play kamikaze style the whole 60 minutes.

yeah, i said before it was 21-0, i thought it was 28. that's been pointed out. like that makes it completely different.
I call bullshite that you are from Kenner and act like the lsu collapse was even in the same ballpark as tonights game. You might be dumb but not even a complete drooling retard would act like they are in the same similar. frick you douchebag.

convincing argument. we definitely didn't fold with a bigger lead, against a worse team. i stand corrected.
btw our game at half: 21-0. theirs today: 24-7. very comparable. care to try to convince me how that's not comparable?
you're also right that i must be from at least 400 miles away from BR to have such a view that the meltdowns were similar.
you like the others here just "LOL UR DUM K BYE" and roll out. just bc i compare a more embarassing choke of saban's to one of les' more embarassing chokes, doesn't mean i hate les. you fail, like the rest here.

.but that was the most pathetic display of coaching in the second half I have ever witnessed at Alabama. That was fricking pathetic. Our team is just a bunch of quitters and we gave them that fricking game. auburn didn't really play that well, we just fricking quit.

What is frustrating is this:
A gump makes one thread that hints that Miles is not such a bad coach...and here comes a LSU fan jumping in to argue that no, actually Miles does in fact still really suck!

THAT WASN'T WHAT I WAS SAYING. i thought everyone had finally laid off of giving shite to miles. i was just saying that saban isn't some magical invincible guru compared to les and i get shite about my "breathless defense" of saban.

Saban didn't drop a TD pass or fumble the ball twice in the red zone. He also didn't decide to not INT a pass on Auburn's first possession of the 3rd quarter and instead to tackle the only other defender who could have tackled the WR that he avoided.
Hoo-lllee shite.
When Saban loses, it's the players.
When Miles loses, it's the coaching.

i couldn't understand why they didn't just keep giving julio the ball in the 3rd when he was so dominant in the 1st half. i guess they said he was hurt in some generic nondescript way, but if that wasn't the case, playcalling was weak in the 3rd q, which was crucial

It is utterly amazing how some of the Sabanistas think.

You moronitude has already been adequately exposed in the previous 5 pages.
Bama collapse in the iron bowl a year after the nc and sabans 4th year is not equal to les' first game in tiger stadium after the largest natural disaster in us history (that directly effected the players prep and conditioning)

the first half it looked like awburn quit, the second half looked like the gumps quit. Both just quiters in some capacity.

bc i compared one of his worst to one of les' worst, correctly.
The comparison really isn't a good one. It was Miles 2nd game at LSU. LSU also had a new defensive coordinator in only his second game at LSU and the game was impacted by the effects of 2 hurricanes. The defensive schemes were new and it was obvious in the first 2 games that the defense was still learning the new system. Tennessee was ranked 5th or so at the time of the game. It was actually a fairly talented team that seemed to just quit after a couple of losses.
On the otherhand, Alabama's meltdown was in the last game of the season, in Saban's 4th year, an experienced squad with 11 games in the current season under their belt, and not learning a new defensive scheme, etc., etc.
I understand what you were trying to point out, but you picked a not so good comparison. Worlds of difference.

my point stands. my first claim was wrong in magnitude, but we still have blown a bigger halftime lead, proving everyone else's assertions equally wrong. if anything, i conceded my point on that too early.
calling me names and talking about where i'm from or not on here while doing nothing to refute my point makes you look like pathetic. the guys who initially attacked me on here have bailed for a reason. you are too stupid to realize it.
the comparison is imperfect, but valid. we blew a massive lead after dominating in all ways. so did they.
