Yahoo’s Pat Forde says AU in, Bama out

CFB Analyst Pat Forde thinks Bama will slip. He cites Auburn’s big win over Oregon as a reason for currently having them as the 3 seed in the CFP.
The others:
1. LSU
2. Clemson
3. AU
4. OSU
Now, I think this is wrong because I think LSU is blowing a lot of smoke right now, and will falter per usual when it matters most. But, I do think he’s right in hopping on AU. Most people are not going to hop on the AU bandwagon until it’s too late and it’s already full.

Not really a prediction, but based on wins.
Clemson because all of their opponents have been P5
(Those include a Georgia Tech team that lost to Citadel and a Syracuse team that lost to Maryland by 40, but technically both P5)
Auburn because of the win over Oregon
LSU because of the win over Texas
Ohio State because... he really likes Ohio State.

Forde is just trolling the state of Alabama. He knows from his ESPN days that the highest ratings and clicks come from Alabama. So what better way to get a bunch of clicks than by predicting that their usual team slips and their hopeless team catches lightning in a bottle with a freshman QB.

frick Auburn. Their defense will get them a win vs Georgia, Bama, or LSU, but they are losing two of those.
