Edit- Not even ranked directly behind us at #2. Top 5:
Rice
University of Texas
Houston
Texas Tech
aggy

Rice and UT are great programs. Rice, UT, and A&M are easily the top 3 in the state IMO, order depends on the individual program most likely.

But Houston and Tech? Lol.

If any other engineering school n the state approaches the top 3, it's UT Dallas.

Since UTexas will beat A&M in any academic measure, it has to be "life" considerations that are guiding this.

Austin is a shitehole and it's starting to effect UT quality of life and affordability.

Career success after graduation vs cost of attendance is the unique factor in WSJs methodology.

UT's army of purple-haired lib arts degreed barista alums is holding yall back in these rankings.

Never mind the facts, but A&M's College of Arts and "Sciences" also has more students than any other college. Not even close.

And that doesn't mean Chemistry, it means Sociology and shite.

Lol your fanbase runs off coach after coach and quarterback after quarterback. you guys are everything you claim about Texas fans.

Lighten up.
Our fanbase is extremely supportive—to a fault—and has “run off” neither coaches nor QBs.
At least try to keep your “yo mama” quips honest … such as sheep fricking and whatnot.

College of Arts and Sciences at A&M actually does include Chemistry

Also geology, geophysics, physics, mathematics, economics, statistics, biology, and meteorology.

When you get a second, I'll take a cuppacino, light on the foam, please.

Before this gets too carried away, I have no problem admitting that Texas A&M is a good school.

They just suck in football, have no national brand and no tradition.

Disclaimer: And by tradition, I don't mean odd behaviors that are stuck in a do loop.

this ranking zeroes in on the success of schools’ graduates, especially in terms of college being a good investment.

If this is the case, every plumping-electrician trade school would outrank any university.

In most cases, they arguably should.

I have to agree with yall there.

Liberal arts degrees should be for children of generational wealth to learn talking points for their life as a socialite, and kids with the academics chops to go on to well respected law schools.

For nearly everyone else, learning a skilled trade will provide a better career.
