You are correct. 2019 LSU would beat 2020 Bama by 2 td’s

as a Bama fan i think this made a big difference.
Home field advantage with trash thrown on the field, Like Texas did to influence the refs can turn a game.

Without clicking and reading the link, yes. It’s always up for debate.

Is there anyone that really thinks that the 2020 Bama team even stays remotely competitive with 2019 LSU?
Yeah, I do. Alabama's defense was better in 2020 and Mac Jones was a better collegiate QB who was smarter and more efficient with the football than Tua was.

Just take your title and quit trying to convince the rest of us this was some sort of all time great team. Nobody but you little Bammers is buying that a team that playes in half empty stadiums against teams with opt outs and won it all against a 6 win team belongs on any of those lists.

I'm legitimately over this debate...
But I will say I agree with one thing the list makes clear:
A LOT of past teams would obliterate this field.
2020 Alabama and 2019 LSU would probably have their backups in by the 4th quarter in every game.

Just incase you’re new to earth ESPN post what’s called “click bait” it’s for engagement on their platform has nothing to do with the truth.
2019 LSU is the best team ever. But yall can keep claiming your Mickey Mouse bowl was the best lol.

the best college football team ever. Period. No debate. broken records, awards, Natty...just sheer dominance....an NFL team playing college ball is what 2019 Fottball was. An unstoppable force.

Except they did play.
The 2020 Alabama team was on the 2019 Alabama team and they lost to LSU.
2020 Alabama is only recognized as a great team because they played in such a weak year.
What? We didn't even have the same QB both years. Not to mention Shane Lee is the main reason LSU won in 2019, and even though he was a true freshman who started the entire year due to injuries, he never once saw the field again in his career outside special teams and a few garbage time games.
2019 LSU wasn't even #1 in power rankings in 2019. #1 offense, but your defense was trash.

Ohio St playing less games made it more difficult for Alabama, not less difficult.
They had less chance for injury, less chance for teams to expose their weaknesses and so forth. Alabama on the other hand played 11 of the best teams the SEC had to offer.
If Alabama was allowed to play 5 games less than everyone else, you fricks would never stop crying.
