If your team could hire a head coach who had a sure shot at winning 5 national champions but was a known liar, would you want him hired at your school? Asking for a friend. I'll hang up and listen.

Absolutely. I would hire Freeze back tomorrow if I could.

In the words of Al Davis.

Probably not Urban. He's only won a few compared to the Dark Lord.

FYI lost in the media fray and the frenzy was the actual timeline.

When Saban said, "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach," he had already turned them down once, Mal Moore started pursuing other candidates and Rich Rodriguez had accepted the job.
So he wasn't lying when he said that.

But don't let facts get in the way of a narrative.

The fact this has gotten perpetuated is probably the biggest misconception when it comes to Nick.

What is he known for lying about? Are these Saban type lies or Paterno type lies?
