If all of this stuff you've made up was "proven" then we would have at least been paid a visit by the NCAA, no?

You did have a visit from the NCAA and they found you were paying players to not take visits to other schools. Plus you can't punish the snitch too harshly how else can you continue to mine them for information?

And your dumb arse knows? Everybody knows the boy was shopped. Yes, I strongly suspect Auburn boosters cut a deal with Cecil. No one except Auburn fans believes any different. I bet many of them believe it too.

Eta: Did you know that Ballard had 19 rushing touchdowns in 2010, and played in 2 less games than Dyer?

You do know that Dyer in 2010 split carries with Cam Newton who ran for 1500 yards and 20 TDs?

I'll take the guy that broke Bo Jackson's freshman rushing record, was Freshman All-American, BCSNCG MVP, and 1st team All-SEC

No that's why he is still at MSU. If he was so great he would have got a better job by now. He is a good Play caller but not a great recruiter. He could if he pulled a Chizik and bought a star QB that fit his system.

Didn't yall have to disassociate some folks?

Not only was it shown that you tried to cheat, your boosters couldn't scrounge up 180k to pay a guy who would have changed the trajectory of your program, so he went to a legit football school for free.

Why MSU people bring up Cam and Auburn is beyond me, as it is certainly one of the most embarrassing sagas in their unremarkable history.

And deep down MSU dont believe that you're that righteous.

If y'all weren't too poor to afford Cam and he ended up in Starkville you know damn well your AD would have kept their mouth shut instead of going and crying to the NCAA that the bigger kid stole the toy you had been saving up for

Auburn boosters cut the deal. They had more experience in the cheating game, and did what it took to close the deal. To your credit, it paid off. So get over it.

Thinking MSU didn't get him because they were too poor is some of the dumbest shite I've ever read on this board.

Not really. Kenny Rogers was a former MSU player who sort of wedged himself in with Cecil Newton. He was not an MSU booster, and he was not working for or with MSU. He was working with Cecil. But, since he was actively trying to help Cecil get money for Cam's services, MSU sent him a "disassociation" letter, essentially saying "we don't think you are currently a booster, but this is to inform you that you never will be a booster."

Look, if MSU was trying to cheat in this deal, why would they turn themselves in to the SEC? Since they wound up admitting everything anyway, don't you think Cecil and Rogers would have turned the tables on MSU and claimed that MSU was the school offering money?

That is factual whether Auburn fans like it or not.

Sumlin just went into MS and took their coach. They actually demoted him to just a defensive tackle coach instead of the whole line. MSU fans must be pissed.

Mullen has reached his highest rank. He will not be offered a job at a more prestigious school. He has exceeded at State as good as you can at such a shite hole but don't pretend he's some kind of big time coach. State schedules 4 cupcakes every year then you get a couple of down SEC teams, (pick which team which year) and gets 6 wins right there. Get a lucky bounce, and have once in lifetime QB for your school (Dak wouldn't have started at most others) and you get an extra win or 3. Hope you enjoyed it, it'll be another 25 years

I don't know if he would win the SEC but he would definitely contend in the SEC west. He's one of the few coaches who can get the absolute most out of most players and if he joined a program with that much cash and resources in a talent hotbed such as Texas, I don't see anything stopping them from being a contender under his watch.
