LSU and Bama are the two teams that will most likely face OSU in the CFP. They have both lost to Ohio St. your point is moot

You are one of the easiest targets I've come across over the years.

Did UCF beat two SEC teams OOC?

Clemson hasn’t yet.

What relevance does this have?

I have a better idea. Let's do SEC teams that have never won a national championship.

But hey, congrats on the Funyuns Bowl 20 years ago.

Let's name the one and only team in this thread to NEVER have beaten ANY team from the state of South Carolina AT ALL. EVER.

I think it's funny that you could go to an 8 team playoff and the pac-10 would still be left out

Would be a great matchup. I think Clemson is down a bit and could be beaten by 6-8 teams currently.

I would be surprised if a big ten team went undefeated That conference is pretty tough with a lot of games left against each other. Plus Ohio state might have to play Wisconsin twice this year

ACC teams beat each other & give Clemson a game=trash conference

Big10 teams beat up on each other=pretty tough conference

SEC fan logic

Imagine being Utah or Boise St and you have an undefeated season and then being left out. They will be able to point to Clemson and say well they were 13-0 too and didn't play any ranked teams. Why can't we be considered like they were?

I hate to say it but Notre Dame actually plays a tougher schedule than anyone in the ACC even though ACC is the bulk of their schedule.

So a 13-0 P5 team that had been in the playoffs the previous 4 years and won 2 of the last 3 national championships shouldn’t get in the playoffs? This team also played 2 SEC teams in addition to their conference schedule? Yeah that sounds like a UCF situation...

They dominated a very good bama team last year

Last year should have zero bearing on this year.

So when Notre Dame has an equal record to UGA - and assume SOS is better for Notre Dame... you would put Notre Dame in the playoffs over UGA? Fans and committees at least subconsciously weigh how that team did in the playoffs.

I'd look at the scores and other stats as well, but last year would never enter the conversation.

That that's not a good look for those fans/committees.

So the year that Bama didn’t win the SEC and got in over Ohio State, you don’t think Clemson’s destruction of Ohio State the year before had anything to do with it?

I don't know if it did or didn't. I'm not on the committee and didn't pay attention to their explanation.
