“Something very bad is gonna happen” on Netflix

Just finished this mini series. Slow start, has some weak spots here and there but the ending was pretty good. Not long so I thought it was worth the watch if you like mystery/soft horror

Couple other things that seemed to be left a little unclear to me. Did Rheanyra’s entire army get wiped out by Ulf? Did they lose the battle or did they just “lose” the city because it got burned to ashes? I assume they won but the city is toast.

Agreed. The writers did such a terrible job on that. Which of the three dragons leave together at the end? One of the three is presumably adverse to the other two. What gives?

Blaming federal district court judges for desegregation is nonsensical. The Supreme Court issued multiple rulings requiring the desegregation of public schools. So did federal law. A federal judge’s sworn duty is to, you know, apply and enforce federal law. You can blame the Supreme Court or even more so the worthless school board, who had plenty opportunity to reach a consent decree with the NAACP on how to implement desegregation. They had years and years to do that. They of course never did. Making any of the southern federal judges scapegoats for this is just dumb.

They will fight this to prevent a conviction of any kind in the first place. They aren’t just punting on that. It should be thrown out on the front end.

Have not, I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!
Best sound bar(s)

Any suggestions? The problem I keep running into with Samsungs is that all the other noise and or music totally overpowers the speaking parts and I can’t hear wtf they are saying. Samsung’s subwoofers also seem to break or blow out very easily (I’m not on high volume). I don’t have surround sound and I don’t need loud, would just be nice to hear the dialogue well and the product holds up for awhile.

Dan Carlin has a magnificent podcast on the eastern front. Ghosts of the Ostfront.

I laughed at this maybe harder than was warranted. Well played.
re: Would you be pissed if LSU wore gold/purple/gold for 1-2 home, conference games?

Love the idea but do wish they’d go back to the darker more rich purple color they had for the purple jerseys in the 80s/90s.

Respectfully disagree, FDR was not a POS. He deserves a lot of credit for getting things in place to fight WW2 when the country was adamantly opposed to any hint of doing so in the years leading up to our involvement. You can disagree with his domestic policies but he was clutch for the war.

I assume they are making fun of people with modern fetishes, in that some/most of them are bizarre and hard to believe people are getting anything out of them. At least that’s my guess! Hard to “peg” this show yet, may make a lot more sense at the end or on rewatch.

Yea I’m thinking a few days would be more than enough there? Then move on down the road to Bean Town.

Several flights. Long way. Have an opportunity to go there but know next to nothing about it. Lobster and chowder on the menu I’m sure!

The place for solar is the frickin desert. Not in the south where trees actually grow.
