We’ve always been treated well by Auburn and UGA fans. I can’t say that we’ve had a bad experience with another fan base. Mostly just indifferent.

My sister and brother in law have three boys and they tried to take their boys to a few stadiums every year. They had such a horrible experience at West Virginia the kids didn’t want to visit anymore stadiums.

My worst experience as a visiting fan was at Auburn back when I was a student in the early 2000's. It rained the entire time. The ponchos didn't work. We were soaked. It was cold. LSU got absolutely trounced. It was miserable.
The most hostile fans were at Gainesville and Athens. Maybe UF was slightly worse.

The UCF fans were huge trash talkers at the Fiesta Bowl 2018-2019 v LSU. That is, until after the game.

UGA students taunting LSU fans at the 2005 seccg with chants of Katrina takes the cake for me. I went up to the students and said people lost their lives. The kid told me to frick off. I knocked out 2 of his teeth.

Independence Bowl Game.
8 people in my group surrounded by hundreds of hog fans yelling “woo pig sooing” every 5 minutes.
Fans were fine wps was annoying as hell. A couple fans were handing out Miller Lite from back packs. Even shared a few with the Mizzou fans
Not the worst just the only time I was surrounded by the other teams fans.
SC fans were good (Bowl game)
KState fans were kinda boring

Just zero class and an unbelievable amount of shite-talking from a group of people about to be 2-10 on the season. But we beat them 31-0 so they were awfully quiet by halftime.
Related: back then you pissed on the walls in the men's bathroom on the home side. Those poor fricks couldn't even afford a trough-style pisser.
ETA: Memphis would be a close 2nd but I don't consider Memphis fans to be real people.

I have watched this series and sat all over that stadium in person since I was a kid. Normally sit in sections 102-103. First trip to Athens was 1971. I have family the Athens area.
That Blackout game was the worst game I have ever attended with relation to fan base. It showed UGA's true colors where Auburn is concerned.
My friend had to hold his daughter and wife's hands to get out while I had my two young sons hand. To be honest you bark literally in the faces of women and children and shot birds and yell the men to go to hell or get fricked. It is on ever row as we work our way out. I experience or watch it happen every other year since Aromashdu took it to the house in 2005. Tough guys when you are inside that home stadium with your friends around and the threat of the opposing fan base going to Clarke county jail.
We just can't get any of you to step outside one block from the stadium and bark in our face. You damn sure don't do it in Auburn even with the current streak.
One only needs to watch YouTube and the 1986 game in Auburn to see the true fan base of UGA and just how much you have envied Auburn over the years.

If you have a bad fan experience at a college football game, it's most likely because you're an a-hole. I go to several college football games a year at various places and never have a bad time. Most of the time people will invite you over to their tailgate to share their food and drinks.

Athens is an awesome town but don’t go in opposing colors if you want to enjoy your time. They are the absolute worst. Not even close either Imo. I can go to Tuscaloosa in orange and blue and have good convos. Never in athens. I will go right at game time if i go to athens ever again for a game. People are the biggest assholes on the planet on gameday. I can’t even imagine now that they’re winning constantly.
