At the risk of opening up a huge can of worms, that looked a lot like Doucet's touchdown "catch" against ASU in 2005. I never thought that was a touchdown either.

1982 pass interference in the Arkansas-SMU game was the worst ever...hands down. Of course that was before we joined the SEC, but it did cost us the SWC title.

1983 against Penn State. Bama starts a HUGE 4th quarter comeback...drive down near the endzone and throws a touchdown pass at the back of the EZ. Reciever lands 3+ feet inbounds....ref ruled him out. It literally cost us the game. Turns out the ref was the uncle of a Penn State player from the 1979 Sugar Bowl. He was banned from officiating a couple years later because of making so many horrible calls, many of which went in Penn States favor

the first play

plus the last of the mohicans music seals the deal that this video wins any contest it is in.

this wasn't a good call but it wasn't bad

first yeah the florida player was running towards the ark player but there is a chance that the ref didn't see him running at him and he just saw a florida player on the ground away from the tackle. If the ref saw the entier play it should have been offsetting personal fouls, the best thing for the ark player to fall after the florida player hits him clearly making it a personal foul on the Florida player

the Arkansas player standing while the Florida player isn't doesn't help Arkansas case

It was bad. One of the first rules of officiating is to see it all before making a call. He didn't.

got the pass interference rule changed from a spot foul to 15 yards the next season too

This pissed me off worse at the time than any of the florida calls, but didn't affect the outcome so it goes down the memory hole.

it should have been a personal foul on the florida player but i think alot of people think its some conspiracy about the refs wanting florida to the title, i think its just a ref not seeing the entire play and throwing a flag when he shouldn't have

There was another bad call in an Auburn - Vandy game in the early 90's.....it was in Nashville. One of the teams had fumbled, and there was a big pile. An Auburn player somehow appears next to the pile WITH the ball, even while the scrum continues and the refs are trying to separate bodies. The AU player walks up to the ref and hands him the ball as if to say "It's over - we got it." But somehow the refs end up awarding the ball to Vandy.

Hard to tell about those. Once a player is deemed to have possession, who has it afterward is irrelevant. Depending on what's goin' on, separating players can precedence over signaling possession.

It was one of many TURRIBLE calls in the last several minutes of the 4th quarter.

Officiating was pretty good until the last part of the 4th quarter but I'm sure it was just a repetitive coincidence.

If you will excuse me there are black helicopters sorrounding my business...gotta go.
