Kentucky is basically Mizzou before Mizzou. But their pseudo-Appalachian yankeedom won us over with bourbon and horse racing.

Mizzou has this far provided no such incentives because they can’t and they envy Kentucky for their ingenious tribute.

I have many AU friends, including close friends, in "real" life and all of them are very fine people. I have worked with many and we could always talk civily about football. There are even many fine and fun AU posters on msg boards, but AU has the "unhealthiest" crazies of any fanbase I've encountered. Bama certainly has their crazies, but their "fault" is usually being over-exhuberant about the success of their team, and attaching too much importance to it. They are usually "sidewalk alumni". Whereas, AU's crazies seem primarily bitter, resentful and jealous and engage in lies, conspiratorial speculation and criticisms to discredit another program. They are often graduates, msg board monitors, i.e., kind of leaders in the AU athletic community. Some that I have named elsewhere were literally sick in their obsession.

So, IMO, AU leads the parade and it's not even close. It is unhealthy and not much fun. I assume for much of the board.
