Teams of real men that get defeated badly learn lessons from it and move on.

Looks pretty even

LSU didn't have a Heisman hopeful QB in 2014 like Auburn had in 2015.

You have a Heisman RB just like having a Heisman QB in your offense.

Nope, just a Heisman hopeful RB that does this:
That was also held to 40 yards

2014 Auburn's was the bigger beat down. At least it fell that way in the crowd.
Of course, getting beat down is a lower extreme than giving a beat down is as a higher extreme, if that makes sense.
LSU never gets blown out like that. It was basically the only time it has happened to LSU in 6 or 7 seasons. Maybe the second, if you consider the 21-0 game in the same category. Although, LSU was within two possessions basically the entire game.
LSU never had a shot to beat Auburn. They could have won by even more than they did if they wanted. It felt worse.
Of course, Auburn fans are used to their team getting blown out multiple times per season, so the feeling they had this past Saturday probably wasn't a very unique one.

Pretty similar. I remember thinking after the game last year that there was nothing LSU could do get in the game. I'm sure auburn fans were thinking similarly last Saturday. That's a crap feeling

Auburn beatdowns of LSU:
1991 34-10
1999 41-7
2002 31-7
2014 41-7
All three were bad, but 1999 was especially embarrassing because LSU was favored.
The MOST embarrassing LSU loss to Auburn IMO was 1994. LSU had a 23-9 lead in the 4th qtr. Nix was hurt, D Craig couldn't move the team.
But LSU LOST !!!! Thank you Amedee and Hallman!
LSU beatdowns of Auburn:
1972 35-7
2001 27-10
2003 31-10
2011 45-10
2015 45-21
I think 2011 was the most dominant.
Oh well, let's both beat Bama !!!!!!!!!!

I'd call it even, although it's worth noting that the 2014 game involved a very veteran Auburn team, particularly on offense against a younger LSU team with a first-time freshman starter at QB.
This 2015 LSU team is led by sophomores and freshmen on offense.

Auburn would never "beat down" an opponent with that gimmick offensive system they use. In 2014, Auburn game planned and executed better than LSU. in 2015, Auburn straight up got out manned and out muscled by LSU.
45-21>41-7
45-21>41-7

I'll play along...
in one instance, 1 team was starting a true freshman in his first ever start, away, in an SEC game.
in the other, we have a preseason heisman hopeful leading a team that hard started the season ranked in the top-10.
If you can't figure out, then you can go frick yourself.
But really, who fricking cares?

Is this really a tough decision for anyone? The Au beat down of Lsu last year was much more decisive, score and stats prove that out.
Lsu seemed to be more physical(400+) rush yards this year than Au was last year due to style of offenses. But still, 41-7 >>>>>>> 45-21,

2011. LSU's FB hit AU's defenders much harder than any tackle AU made. Landry and others on Special Teams delivered some mounstrous hits. LSU in 2014 was left embarrased... AU in 2011 was flat out afraid. Physically that game was 77-0.

to me the deciding factor is the fanbase's perception of their team. Auburn fans have recognized their team is not very good this year and have tempered their expectations.
LSU fans, however, are, were, and always will be completely delusional. The lack of psychological preparedness for 2014 that LSU fans had makes that beat down more severe.

Which game is the most irrelevant to the current season (which is 2015 for all the ignorant Barners that had to have a UAB grad read this post to them).
Why not pass a new rule that allows the previous years scores to count for the current season? Boy would that be GREAT!!!

This. All teams will get knocked down. Getting back up is the important part.
