Don't wear anything red or blue and you should be fine.

Starkville has actually grown and improved tremendously over the last decade plus. It used to be everything bad anyone said about it but the amount of bars and good restaurants that have been added have been a huge plus.

The cotton district is a neat little area with bars and restaurants lining the street. My favorite is two brothers and bin 612, bulldog burger, etc are good spots too. Only thing we really need to improve in that area is parking and maybe 1 more large bar bc it gets slammed there on big weekends.

Also, our campus has always been very nice, perks of being an ag school I guess. We keep it looking good

It's a small college town. So not much fun unless you are a student.

I haven't been there in several years, but Harvey's used to be a good place to grab a steak.

Two Brothers is awesome (jmho). But as someone else noted, parking can be a real pain. Enjoy.

At a restaurant when you’re ready for the check just ring your cowbell

Nobody cares what colors you wear. Just don't ponyup at a bar and brag about a mediocre college like Ole Miss and you'll be fine..

Based on FBI crime data, Starkville is not one of the safest communities in America. Relative to Mississippi, Starkville has a crime rate that is higher than 84% of the state's cities and towns of all sizes.

Bruh, who here hasn't enjoyed cheap drinks and cheap food amidst the pleasant scenery of sundress season in some random SEC college town?

Get your shite together.

^^^^^^^^^^ this on both points. If you park in the wrong spot, you will be towed quickly.

Better food than Oxford, but downtown and Cotton District are split on restaurants and bars.
