Louisiana's governor seems like a dumb arse but
given Woodward's ménage à trois hires of Jimbo Fisher
and Brian Kelly , involving tens of millions of dollars
down the toilet , probably time for him to hit the road to a
mid-level or high school as athletic director.

This sure is giving their fan the rollercoaster ride of their life.
First they wanted Woodward gone, then Landry became a bigger villain by opening his mouth and they've mostly been rallying behind Woodward. I can see it from both sides.
Woodward hired LSU great baseball and WBB coaches and simply went with normal practices when hiring CBK. If al the world knew BK was incompetent, why recruit him.
On the other side is Landry, who points out the taxpayers are on the hook for the buyouts -- and of course no one right now knows what those amounts really are. But it seems they may be headed toward litigation in order to resolve.
Meanwhile.

And at the same time also screwed up the two biggest money makers for the school: football and MBB. Will Wade was the best thing to happen to LSU basketball in 30 years (minus a random John Brady final 4 run with a loaded team) and Woodward acted like a complete puss in how he handled that. Add in Kelly failing and the writing was on the wall.
However, I will say I’m fearful of who the next AD will be because we certainly could do worse. Jeff Landry is like the governor out of some shitty comedy movie about Louisiana.
