Show proof and a reliable source. SlicedBread from Mobilehoma's 247 board doesn't count.

Because LSU recruits with merit. A&M has to literally buy players.

This is just sad, and this holier than thou act doesn’t resonate when your program is well known to be offering cash. Nobody has forgetten that.

LSU uses the word “merit” as code for Hospital funds

So this bleeding just sounds like a bitter older woman who is lashing out because she is no longer the talk of the town.

They're Barbara Streisand, who as South Park describes, is, "just a really, really old woman who still thinks she's only 45."

And there is nothing wrong with UGA having a large recruiting budget. That’s not the point.

It's the JR Euing syndrome. That attitude has prevailed in Texas since forever. Flashing money around will get you knocked in the head by the NCAA. Gotta be low key about it boys.

Ftr, I don't have a problem with A&M "stepping up".

A&M is jealous that UGA just did what they haven’t been able to do. Win a Natty. Or even their SEC division. They love to talk about all their money but it hasn’t bought them anything.

Quite the contrary. UGA provided a blueprint. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

We spent money on personnel, flights (those helicopter rides to high school games aren't cheap), and all sorts of "normal" recruiting efforts. It's why it's on the books with the NCAA.

When we're talking about A&M, we're talking about boosters paying players to attend a university, not simply trying to entice them with cool artwork with their face photoshopped into a school uniform.

Georgia acting holier than thou is absolutely hilarious. There is no price you haven't been willing to pay for a recruit. Until of course A&M stepped in and raised the stakes.

Stop larping. You're as dirty as they come

Neither do we! You idiots are missing the point obviously. It’s not about the money for A&M because clearly we can outspend anybody in our conference. It’s the double standard by the media that we are complaining about, period!…..and I sure as hell am not complaining about Georgia spending money on “recruiting”, I have no beef with schools spending money……..it’s the media we have an issue with!

Media is unfair to A&M so therefore there's a link to media coverage on UGA?

Schools are instructed to define recruiting expenses as amounts for “transportation, lodging and meals for prospective student-athletes and institutional personnel on official and unofficial visits, telephone call charges, postage and such.” Schools are supposed to include the “value of use of institution's own vehicles or airplanes as well as in-kind value of loaned or contributed transportation.”

Not $30 million for pay for play

Kirby inherited a 10 win per year program at Georgia and it took him 6 classes like the one A&M brought in to beat saban and win a championship.

If lsu had the #1 class with NIL you wouldn’t shut up about it.
That's because LSU would actually compete for something if they had the #1 class. Texas Arrogant & Mediocre hasn't won a championship since Hitler invaded Poland. You two are not the same and probably never will be.
