I tried to watch it. It’s just hard. Softball I enjoy (if I turn the sound down), women’s tennis and golf I enjoy. I just can’t stand watching women’s basketball. It’s just not a good product.

This coming from an Alabama fan has got to be the most ironic and least self aware thing ever posted here.
Not sure what your point is. We watch Alabama football because we’re Alabama football fans, and football is generally a lot of fun to watch. People are packed in that arena watching women’s basketball because it makes them feel better about being a USCe fan.
It is what it is.

Tennis, Golf, Softball, and Gymnastics all have a common denominator of a redeeming quality - an abundance of attractive women.
Attractive women in college basketball are outliers.

Dude, then don't watch it or talk about it.
Think about this tho
Mens basketball started in the late 1800's and pretty sure if we watched that game today it would be unwatchable to us.
Modern women's basketball (with 5 on 5 full court vs 6 on 6 / 3 on 3 half court) started roughly 100 years after the men's game started.
In essence, would modern women's basketball be more watchable than MCBB say around WW I?

I mean you’re not wrong there. But the most unattractive thing about women’s basketball is the quality of the play. It’s just a bad product. I realize women’s tennis players can’t hang with the men, but I don’t watch it and go, shite that just looks so bad. Same with women’s golf.

So LSU’s program is now defined by their WsBB team?
Wow, that’s sad and hilarious.

It's because being tall and being able to jump really high, which are two areas where women simply do not excel, are crucial to good basketball, but are fairly irrelevant to tennis and golf.

Except the choice which lies before us is not, say, Vanderbilt versus Cleveland National Guard Armory or USC versus LSU women’s.

Either you have never been to games or you are trolling
Been around WCBB since Pat was in college and been around the players for generations. They look VERY different in street clothes and many have been models both here and overseas. If you find them so unattractive have you considered you might be gay?

I agree. Being unathletic (in a relative context as compared to men) makes the product hard to watch.

If they just lowered the goals so dunks could happen that would go a long way IMO

Carolina has a guard coming in next year, Fulwiley, that is the best female basketball player I've ever seen. She has the same ball handling skills as any guy, great touch shooting the 3's and at 5'7" she can dunk.

Yeah I know some of the girls can dunk but it’s borderline newsworthy when it happens whereas it’s common in the men’s game

awesome
if she successfully pass on her genetic material in 4 or 5 centuries the womens game will be profoundly changed .

Go look up Milaysia Fulwiley dunk on YouTube. Check out her other highlights. She don't play like no girl.
