With SEC Baseball right around the corner...

Were you happy with your team's permanent SEC opponents?
1. Thrilled we got Florida. That has turned into a nice little baseball rivalry recently.
2. Don't have quite the history with UK but it could have been worse I guess.

I wanted UF/vandy or UF/Arkansas. or UF/LSU.

OM not having LSU as permanent opponent is a real American tragedy.
I'm not happy. OM should always play MSU and LSU.

No. Absolutely no appeal to playing Missouri. Would have preferred LSU or State as the other.

I guess they chose Mizzou and Ole Miss for Arkansas from a geography standpoint.

I’m ok with Ole Miss but was hoping for LSU or Texas but the SEC continues to push Missouri as a rival.

No, ours should be MSU and Ole Miss or Arkansas, not MSU and A&M...stop trying to make LSU/A&M a thing.

They honestly could have swapped and had A&M/Missouri together and Arkansas/LSU together. The SEC seriously wants to turn those games (A&M/LSU and Missouri/Arky) into rivalries though.

Yeah, I can kind of understand it in football, but in baseball we give less than 2 shits about A&M. Our rivals are Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. We should always play MSU and Ole Miss.

It’s ok. Just a little disappointing we didn’t get Kentucky because those (football) games were consistently great over the years, even becoming quite chippy there towards the end. They were the closest thing we had to an SEC rival.

Vandy is probably our biggest baseball rival right now, but frick them, so I am good. We are going to play Georgia in every sport or both schools will cry, and Florida/Carolina is a good rivalry in baseball.
If I could list our top baseball opponents:
Vandy
LSU
Carolina
Rivalries can come and go sometimes depending on which teams are competitive. Tennessee is a big series for a lot of schools now and they never were before.
If I had my druthers we would play LSU in every sport at least twice. Always worth the price of admission.

LSU MSU just because of the Polk Bertman history and the fact those two really turned SEC baseball into what it is today
A&M take it or leave it, LSU has more history with other opponents in baseball like Ole Miss, Florida and Arkansas

No.
Ole Miss, Arky, Florida, Texas all make more sense than A&M for LSU. I get Texas has A&M/Oklahoma as main rivals but 1 of the other 3 would have been much better.
